TIP:Make sure to use hairspray on the glittered “broom” parts on your tiered tray. It will stop all the glitter from falling off the floral picks! I work at Dollar Tree & those picks will forever continue to lose the glitter unless you spray them generously with hairspray! I would recommend to do it prior to cutting them down.
With the poseable wooden skeleton you painted white, and affixed to 4 glued-together canvasses, I thought 3 of them together but posed as "See no evil", "Hear no evil", Speak no evil" would be really cute and keeping with Halloween with the Evil related.
MopHead Ghost Variation:Take old sauce jar(or something similar)Make it the center/base of ghost by gluing the mop to the lid. Unscrew the lid after mop/ghost secure. Fill jar with electric candle or LED lights. Easier than making the center/base & it glows!!!
TIP FOR YARN OUTLINES: Draw your pattern onto paper. Glue the yarn over your pattern and cut out. Then apply as a whole onto your craft object. That way there’s no sticky fingers, no glue strings, and easier application. Plus it makes placement exactly where you want it. The bottom will never be seen anyway.
When doing blood drips on candles I use the puff paint in the squeeze bottles. It's already red can make as thick or thin as wanted and don't have to carefully paint the glue. Read some comments not sure if someone already said it. They also sell it at the dollar store.
I'm turning one of the plastic skulls into a plant holder. I saw one at Dollar General with a fake plant in it. I cut a hole in the top filled in any hole at the bottom because mine will hold an already potted plant. I sanded it then painted it black, then dry brushed it with silver. I also glued a wooden peg on the bottom of the skull so it sets more on its chin, i think it looks like where the spine would be at. I also used some safe glue to glue some rocks in the chin to help give it a little weight. I love it.
These are super cute ideas! On the skeleton body with pumpkin head, If you paint the eyes on the black pumpkin white and let it dry, the orange will cover in one coat.
Ok I’m obsessed with the broom 3 tier tray. Soooo cute and relatively easy to make!! I also like the skeleton on the black canvases and would love to have like 3 of them!! I always love your crafts!! Some of my favorite pieces!!! ❤❤
I agree! Buy one and use as template and use cardboard. It can be done for uners $10. Those wood pieces are not good for outside. If you want them to last you could use truck bed liner to spray them with.
I only decorate for the Autumn but I love everything you made on the video and I'm going to give some of them a go, especially the witches made from pool noodles for outside very cool ❤
I don't usually decorate for Halloween, but I'll have to add a few pieces of Halloween decor to my decor this year since I'll have 4 goblins, I mean grandbabies. Lol.
I love all of these ideas but I am definitely going to be making one of the mop ghosts and the broom tiered tray. Those two were my favorites. Such fun ideas and is getting me super excited for spooky time lol. Thanks for sharing! 🎃
Such inspirational creativity. We have Halloween birthdays in our family so will be using your ideas for those parties as well as Halloween home decor. Thank you
Instead of using old pillows for stuffing your crafts, try using clean plastic grocery bags. Especially beneficial for your outside decor because then you’ll only need to wash the outside and dry the plastic bags. This makes more room for your outside decor to be stored after the season as flattened decor is easier to pack away and doesn’t get mouldy or musty smelling. I find if you store your outdoor decor and it has pillow stuffing in it…it will have a strange smell or even mouldy spots when stored in your garage.
I think the doorway arch would’ve looked even better if you had done some variations of color for the different sized pumpkins, like maybe the smallest ones orange and the medium ones purple with the large ones being black
Wow you really made a lot of adorable decorations for Halloween. Thank you for sharing. I love the little witch tree and the little village of (houses). Great ideas!!
You are a truly amazing crafter! 🎉 thanks for the ideas- I’m totally making that Skelton heads candle holder + a 3 wick for Halloween gifts 😀 awesome idea
You could do the same process with the mop head, but instead of a ghost, make cousin IT off of The Adam's family, and you could use watered-down brown paint and soak the mop head to get the hair color.
I have been eyeing that tray for 3 years now and now I can have it! I’ll definitely be heading to Dollar Tree tomorrow and getting supplies for several of your ideas! Everything is awesome! U just got a new subscriber too!
I really liked the pumpkin pillow decor thing 😁 I just wasn't a fan of the stem but that's just me ❤️ I probably would have made it slightly shorter and rounder ? Idk ❤️❤️
I love it all but what caught my attention was your blue and green scissors from dollar tree lol I have those and the link and green ones from there. I love dollar tree I swear my entire pay check goes to that store lol
Throw the mop head in some water and then the dryer. Many of the strands unravel on their own. I was making a witches broom and soaked my mop head in water with cinnamon and coffee in it. I then dried it in my dryer with some old rag towels. That is how I discovered this little trick.
