I like this idea! You should do a crochet video for each decade like 80s 90s 2000s etc. I would love to see that. there is so many ideas for 80s theme like Pacman/arcade theme or big hair 80s,... the list goes on!
I agree ! Crochet wasn’t very popular in 80s fashion but I LOVE the 80s and would love to find a way to incorporate it into crochet more 💜 an 80s inspired vid would definitely start up a ton of new ideas in the community !!
You gave me the courage to make a sweater. I am 70 years old I only made blankets. Now 16 Adult Sweaters and working on my 4th Toddler Sweater I so enjoy Crocheting again. You are such a great teacher. I am a single stitch crocheter one of these days I will try a granny squares.

I'm so glad you decided to use the African violet square for the back, it's such a cute motif and it gives the vest a bit of extra interest rather than just being the typical granny square. I think it's cute with the flowy sleeved top but alone definitely seems more your style.
Idk if I’ve said this before, but THANK YOU!!! for adding subtitles. I have autism and adhd which causes me to have auditory processing issues, so I need to REALLY focus for me to understand what someone is saying without subtitles. I working in a summer top made of small solid granny squares. I love the idea of using the African granny square…now you have me making another vest!!! Inspired me…thank you!!! I absolutely loved watching this video!! I love the colour orange, so I was very happy to see you doing the orange crochet challenge. Everything fitted so well within the seventies theme and the colour orange looks SO good on you :) I think the vest with the African flower is so gorgeous and I really want to make something similar!
