Agreed, the key, locket and packaging makes this one! ✨😱👏😍 The other items not so much! they look too cheap in comparison (pencil, pens and plain hair elastic 😭). I think the pens could have been massively improved had they been metallic (like a golden snitch pen which writes in gold), or broom-shaped if plastic (like a brown Nimbus 2000). A beautiful quill or quill-shaped pen or pencil would have also been perfect. Like you, not a fan of the pin badges either, nor of charm bracelets. I would rather have lots of nice pendants/charms that I can interchange on one chain (they could do both a cord one and dainty chain one to suit all genders/tastes). They definitely should have continued down the ornament path because that diadem was exquisite and gender neutral. 🤔💕

I’d say 50 pounds was for the packaging and 30 for the items didn’t like the badges, pens bookmarks or thin bracelets all cheap and garish x they could have made classier items 💖

My sisters and I are buying this for our 85yr old Nanna as her xmas present this year - she's the BIGGEST HP fan and we love the idea of her having a months worth of enjoyment from it. We got the the page a day story book last year and she reads it to my grandad every day 😍 We wanted to make sure it was worth the money and it looks like it really is so thankyou 😊

I love the pacakging - in Australia it sells for $180 - no way can I pay that much for the things in the box, don't think the items are worth that. Glad you unboxed it saved me buying it!

While I loved the calendar originality and the ravenclaw diadem ornament, that was absolutley beautiful! A whole calendar with ornaments just like that would be amazing! In my opinion it's not worth the cost, it's going for $200 NZD here in Nz ( so around 97 British pounds) I personally just can't justify it! & I feel like we just get the same repeat items yearly or bi yearly! I'll just stick to my $2 square choccy calendar this year as it'll be a tight one!

its a nice Box . I love the lock and Key necklace .. but for that price point I would not want pens , or button badges or a scrunchies .. Would not mind a single pen if its a really nice quality ..but Plastic ... not so much.. the presentation is wonderful.. .the jewelry is lovely . I am thinking a smaller number of days and a bit of a smaller price.. with just the jewelry in it .. Lovely video as always honey.. Your looking wonderful.

Thanks for such an honest review. I love the whole concept of this advent. Very inventive and very original. I love the jewellery. I love the idea of the pens in the test tube but saddened they used such cheap penny pens. I too feel 60 / 40 about the items. I would have liked to see some more versatility. The 44 per cent of books is running end of this month so I got the Tom Felton in paperback ad being on the spectrum I stick to same methods. So it’s reduced right now to £5 also from the Dobby it was on that then saw again went and there was one left at 44 so I’m getting it at the right time. I was lucky with getting the last dobby at that I think the yumi will run out end of this month I’m tempted with the Severus cup. maybe it will still be in the Christmas shop. Can’t do more though on there Your top is SO shiny and glitz

I know this is been random too I don’t know what’s going on mum went for a trim hair hadn’t really grown and I do want to go again but for some reason still isn’t growing where as the moustache and other parts not wanted will grow. I don’t like it too short either so it’s what’s happening …..

I definitely think the quality of the products in this box make it worth the price, most advent calendar items at very flimsy but if I could I definitely would purchase this calendar 🪄

I would get it just for the scrunchie LOl a bit too steep but pretty 😍 also I have never been into glitz and glam more smart casual as long as I’m matching. I need these scrunchies due to my hair type which is waves small ones therefore don’t hold it upright at all and fall out. So I prefer these versions by the way amazon do silk ones there so soft on the hair you should get some the one in lilac is So lush. Thanks for showing us earlier so we know then what to go for . Or not as stated I would go again for the pop funko if they brought in the other secret characters and misunderstood and also change it about we don’t need three Harry’s right but just a few really good ones for what is being paid that’s why I held off last year and griphook was amazing 😻 though but not for what your paying overall for triplicates. If it had more jewellery and no pencil pens scrunchie badges and lanyard (which would be cheap items) its would be closer to being worth it. But its $180 here in Australia and it is in no way worth that.

i think they could have designed that keychain better to make it more of a day 24 surprise. i have seen much worse in advent calendars so it wouldn't make me sad to get this one lol.

I love the presentation of the calendar. ❤ but some of the items I am not too sure about? And for me to add shipping and South African Customs fees to the price… just makes it not very feasible for me 😢😢 The Lego advent is more my speed 😘

I like the pack aging and the fact that most of the stuff are actually things I would use. I also like that you can reuse the bottles and the ball charm for storing things or sweet treats and giving them away as separate presents. Indeed, making it more gender-neutral would have been fine, plus the prices is too expensive for the things they offer, especially if you consider taxes, shipping and delivery prices. For my country it gets as high as 200-250. Still, I do like it and might still get it nonetheless. Thank you for the review.

Beautiful calendar but far too expensive for me. The string bracelets are cute but I guess you could take the charms off and add them to the charm bracelet.

Think they are really missing a trick not supplying for boys thinking on it. A slight design change to the hairclips could easily make them tieclips. But not as they currently are. Lots of boys wear headbands these days and wrist bands, so they could also be for both. The pens n pencils could easily have been much higher quality. 80 quid though, I must admit, I would want higher quality everything in there. This review was great though. 80 quid is a lot for anyone to fork out❤

I remember ordering one though which k just accepted online it was light green when it came dark green which is ok but a little deceptive then I took a look at 9 3/4 didn’t have the light one . But it was ok I just accepted it and it was fine actually but still want the light green one right Seriously though you like these scrunchies go to amazon I got quite a few silk one and you can feel the lightness and bounce of the fabric I want to get one next in a red.
