I think that Anura appears best out of the whole lot He understands the main problems confronting the countrys economy decline Corruption and for 75 years two parties UNP and MRs , SLFP for certain is responsible for the ruination of the economy Dishonesty thrived and encoraged was the reason Anura is very sound about whatever topic he speaks on He may have very little knowledge about the game of cricket But his speech in parliament about the administration flaws and correction is great and it is what a layman can contribute I think that in todays context only Anura can do a good job

This was a such a gem. Timely discussion on testing the most suited economic policies that needs to implemented in the country. This is way better than the senseless information that the mainstream media in SL distribute through inviting silly politicians. Suggest Dana and the rest of the Advocata team to organize more of these discussions/ events at the grassroots (remote areas) to raise awareness. Dana has a superb skill of simplifying complex economic theories to bite size information. Adding to this, Advocata could possibly organize seminars/ discussion forums where a panel of economic experts are invited to openly discuss policy with the business community, Small-Medium Enterprise (SME) businesses, and the youth.

This discussion was very useful and informative, sounds like NPP has a sustainable and long-term plan. And don't let this plan interrupt with communist concept, because I saw after Mr. Tilvin silva's interview with another channel has made big drawback to NPP vision and plan. Good luck for NPP

Anyone can talk about economics and progress, 😂 but when it comes to practicality, it is something else. Mostly impractical to the countries like Sri Lanka. Thanks Dhananath to interviewing Prof. Anil… Gov should revamp and control with its policies. Make a 20 year plan. Even when regimes changes policies must not be changed. How unlucky we are. We don’t have that visionary leaders. 😢 one party cannot solve the issues. 🤷🏻‍♂️

බලන්න dubai Gov කොහොමද හැසිරෙන විදිහ, කියලා ඉන්දියාව සහල් අපනයන නතර කලා විතරයි ඩුබායි එක සහල් re export නැවැත්වුවා, සියලු තොග local market එකට දාන්න කිව්වා, Government involment for market and price control. Not like Sri Lankan

Prof Jayantha of the JVP and Prof Rohan Pethiyagoda of the SJB are saying more or less the same thing as what President Ranil W is saying in his own political language. Eg we need 20 to 25 years development plan, neo liberal now moving to social markwt economy, etc. So at a policy and legal framework level RWs team is doing what is right for the country. Also happy to see this consensus. However we now need to see a suitable risk mitigation support been offered to potential investors and also execution support from govt employees and private sector. This is an area RW is very weak. more we depolitise and more we talk positvely about our journey as a nation we will see the risk appetite increasing for investment increase.
