Don't beat yourself up about it, he's honestly not that good, a character that you can easily avoid their alpa because of how slow it is and a beta that relies on catching you off guard is gonna struggle but he can still be played though
I love dabi but there are certain situations against certain characters where you can't do anything and will just die. 1v1 against an uraraka for example you literally can't beat her (assuming equal skill, levels, starting gp/hp etc). Her beta hits your traps before she gets close and disables them before they can knock her down so your only defense against getting rushed down is useless against her. He also doesn't have anything to wake up with when she knocks him down (gamma is too slow even with invulnerability) so she can just keep beta spamming him to death. And he obviously can't escape her ever so he's a free kill for her. Things like that are why I think a lot of people undervalue dabi. He NEEDS teammates. If you have people who pay attention and don't just run off mindlessly he is really good. If you have teammates like you get 90% of the time you're basically on your own as dabi and you're eventually going to run into someone that counters him and there's nothing he can do.
Crazy I was just using him last night at first I thought he was trash but wen I learned u supposed to kite with him I actually had so much fun(still thinks he needs a buff or a complete rework tho)
@Settanno it's grabbing the attention of enemies aggro and attacking them back at a distance while avoiding attacks and keeping them at a distance. Basically dragging opponents into a favorable position for yourself. Which in dabis case is playing around your traps as instead of running you're using the gamma and beta with alphas mixxed in as you pull back or push forward making it harder for opponents to push you and ko you.
Dabi's skin must feel like scarred rubber and as for dabi feeling his skin, he can no longer feel, he can't feel pain or touch. Which helps him to go all out with his flames burning him even more.

I find it kind of sad that Dabi needs a good team to help him. For example shigaraki does not need a team as much as dabi does, cause he covers a big area with his alpha and beta,and has some type of mobility to get out of a bad situation, dabi needs a team cause if he is alone, it’s very hard to take multiple people out at once.

my fav hero to use is momo and bakugo all might is more a bruiser than deku is, as he has his rushing punch and whirlwind deku also has further range with his alpha

There should be some sort of punishment for players who are far looting while were in a fight, the amount of times I got ochaco's that run to loot and get KOed, a solo ranked mode would be good but could make trios have very little people.
haha yeah, some teammates really do go on some kind of expedition for loot just to never be seen again and after writing that sentence i have a weird urge to watch some kind of movie where people go to some mysterious/far away land to discover something 😂
Dabi main here, ngl they need to change his special action to wat we saw in da anime he deadass was flying while fighting shoto and make him do more damage like plus 3 or sum cuz his flames are literally hotter than both shoto and endeavor it makes no sense
Dabi would have been my main but he's lack of mobility might be a problem for me They would have done it that if ur in his ring of fire you'll be taking damage
Ngl you should switch to English with Dabi his voice lines make it fun. “You should give up!!!” Killer everytime. Also I really want his L1 to have armor or at least still be available if your knocked out the animation like shigaraki. Shig keeps his AOE even if he’s hit out of it
