Ah, I can now see why you draw your cards with one line, not taking your pen from the card! This is excellent practice for drawing with a sewing machine. I really enjoyed watching you make this. I don't have a washing line, so am just trying to think how I could make something similar, which I could use.... The wild flower meadow is so beautiful. This kind of random takes a lot of practice. I particularly love the poppy heads.
I drew with a sewing machine for at least a decade before I got the courage to pick up a pen! I have seen these used for storing toiletries on the back of a bathroom door and threads etc in a sewing corner. You can sew a line vertically to divide the pocket in two. J x

I’m lucky enough to have bought a roll of linen just before a Scottish linen mill closed down - so I have a great roll of the stuff (though obviously it’s incredibly precious as I can’t get any more). I know that Etsy is often very good for smallish amounts. Maybe others have suggestions. J x
