I like your vidioes so much, you are clever teacher I need to begin my first tote bag from your channel but need to do external pocket Which one you advice me to do , please???
Hola es primera vez que veo tu video de la bolsa blanca Esta hermosa.una pregunta tu hilo es algodón mercerizado y que número. Estaría bien que digas el gruesor de hilo y número de gancho.para que la bolsa salga igual que la tuya
Kindly advise as 49dc on both sides plus 3dc corner only 101dc. But you indicated 104 stitches. How about and where are the additional 3 stitches? Thanks
Thanks for your reply. My meaning is after complete first 49dc, last stitch is 3dc. But last stitch of Row 1 there's no increase of stitches. Am I mistaken? Sorry making you confused.
This is great! I have a question, which is better between polyester yarn and cotton yarn for bags? I've been struggling to choose for the longest time.
Hi, this looks like a great pattern, but I find row 1 very confusing; if it's a row of 104 dc stitches at the end, it should have 52 dc in each side of the first line, which I think you do on the video for one side only so, where should I knit the remaining 52 dc if the last one is just one dc?? 🥴
The ch 3 after the first 51 chs in the foundation chain goes into the 4th ch from the hook and counts as a dc. Then you do a dc in the next stitch. Then 49 more. So you will have 51 dc in total before you go into the 3 dc all made in the last stitch. Then do the next 49 dc and when you get to the last stitch (with the marker) do a dc and then a sl st into the 3rd chain of the ch 3. It all adds up to 104 dc. I know because I just did it! I missed a stitch somewhere on my first attempt so counting matters!
@@crazytosh6895 I think that since the total number of dc after you go around the foundation chain (with the increases) is 104, that would be the basis of the multiple of 4 - because 104 divided by 4 = 26. We know that 51 and even 54 (51 + 3) cannot be divided by 4. So maybe that means that if you want to increase or decrease the size of the bag you have to increase or decrease the foundation chain by 26 stitches - or maybe probably half that (13 stitches) - but I don't really know - why don't you try it? We have to remember that we are working in the round here and not in rows so the TOTAL number of stitches in the round is important. Hope this helps!
I am confused. It says that the pattern is a multiple of 4 but she shows 51 chains. Please clarify this please. Is it a multiple of 4 plus 3 or what. Thanks!
please try to do it and prove it. maybe I use wrong word. If you want a bigger or smaller size , you can increase or decrease every 4 chains of foundation chain. Please tell me the result after you did it. Thank you☺
@ViVi Berry Crochet the closest to multiples of 4 would be 48 or 52. You are correct that 51 is a multiple of 4 after adding 3 to 48 so it should be "Chain 48 (multiples of 4) + 3 sc." Your pattern is absolutely adorable 😍 your pattern is correct it's just the wording is a little off.
