here are some tips (from what i’ve done so far) before you get any crochet things you should definitely start off with the beginner friendly step by step tutorials just like lil things yt videos.. that’s where i started learning the abbreviations and how to do them! i then went on to mahum (all not getting any crochet stuff not even holding a crochet hook before) and started seeing the different patterns and techniques i definitely learned lots from both mahum and lil things (both on yt) and now i’m on this video and i understand fully ! but if i was starting with her i would definitely be confused because (as i would think) it’s not so much of a starter STARTER beginner friendly tut so if you want to you should try to follow these tips! 🫶🏽🫶🏽

i would recommend pinning the appliqués together before sewing, i didn’t and mine ended up a little bit lopsided because the middle piece wasn’t placed evenly.

I do not know how to crochet but because I am HIM I simply did it anyways and it turned out pretty good. A few hiccups here and there but I made a kitty in the end with a random crochet hook I found on the floor once when I was out and some yarn that I had to untangle cause it’s been rolling around the floor in my closet for three years.

Thank you! and yes they turn to be abit wonky due to the nature of yarn. But there’s a special glue liquid where you could use to stiffen crochet pieces. I’ll show it in one of my videos if I got a chance!
