This is what happened to me after covid so part of me being on the autistic spectrum is the constant social anxiety I was fine coming in to the tour before I left the house there wasn’t the usual exited feeling as I went once before magical mischief. In the snow as a belated Christmas pressie when I turned 30. But this was just coming out of covid things reopening where it was that time wear the mask rule was then gone so not many at all wore or even has to wear masks that rule was now lifted I wasn’t we were literally us three throughout until they said ok you can mix now outside of the bubble group we didn’t or close enough to have anybody in that bubble household group anyway LOl So as my mum was asking we got in as your meant t0 15 or 20 mins early I went in was fine wasnt so manic we were bumped up to the first group which was just as well as the one we were in full of children I was ok then as soon as I hit the main room it wasn’t so manic as we were in the first morning slot having an upgrade when my mum explained my situation but the panic was more environment to children I was actually fine but then I was being panicked as she was panicking bless her they were coming soon after. I had a mini breakdown in the main just sudden feeling of overwhelm It was then do you want to go home I just has my mini breakdown of tears composed myself then power through but I was really hard on myself there on after for ages until the Halloween theme was booked as I missed the whole concept of me wanting to attend this theme right but then it’s now booked for the tour I haven’t done the reason I feel I will be better is it’s on a manic Saturday at rush time yes the slot but by then I will it’s before half term be used to being as I volunteer as a school with little one But I do find the main one can be very over stimulating right I broke down I think as it’s a lot to take in also not being used to the intensity I think not even going in a garden it was that intense with me at the time and mental health first lockdown was really bad on me. Personally to throw myself in the deep end like that not the best of times to do it when I should have first waxed myself in by having family come in small numbers and also remaining down starting off that way I did push myself and I actually came home tears as it was very stressful. But there very accommodating you are right I just my mum calmed me I was literally stuck transfixed in the corner for about ten minutes I just remember coming out the great hall seeing those placards with director and writing and stuck as to I wand to read them all but there is too many readings to go through so as I’m sly offish reader I was getting a photo on the more bigger placards 🪧 but the confusion was where and how to I navigate accordingly so I was just at a standstill I don’t mind waiting in the Libby until we get to the dvd sector af all so maybe when I go October if it gets much waiting for my allocated time it will be a very busy day I think it’s best that I get the upgraded actually your right with what you said I think I’m fine to wait though in all honesty I want to take photos and look inside I will just say to then let me be brought forward So what I want is to be pushed forward until we finish the great hall because what I find I’m a small person you get pushed around and can’t see adequately Past the main room I just want for eg the broom to come forward which again there very helpful with Just those crowds I fully understand that fellow person to person with the same issues don’t you know it right Let’s see I may want to go to the coming group which they pushed me forward so I was on the point where they were about to show the dvd 📀 suddenly lead through this enchanted magical door next thing hang on how did I get right in front of the people already queuing and ready to go in then the people in front were looking thinking hey but saw the daisy lanyard. Poor guys were there first. But I will see reference pushing forward at the time anyways the person I’m with won’t be so hasty I can always see the front sector at the end right. I think I will take that option again of going toward the dvd actually

Did you get the broom photo done knight bus version im still very impressed by the frame it wasn’t costly either twenty something for frame and photo. Which reasonable price for the casing it’s flexible so can fit anyways bit too big or small. It’s golden glittery inside and watery. I’m such a sad you will sow time catch me on the floor what you doing there and I’m looking at it. It was one of those days blustery in the morning then when I came hot. Hot day LoL 😂

I always wash any Harry Potter t shirts inside out and all at 30 d of stated so I may very meticulous attention to the washing instructions by the letter but yes defo no dryer

What theme was the monster book of monster again that you did I remember the howler they kindly send me both versions of the howler after my bad time as explained why. But they also said usually children’s group as I went a weekday usually don’t come at lunchtime and not usually the first two slots which I for bumped up but that wasn’t the issue I think more the feeling of being in a spacious environment than anything they were right when my family said I should have waited until I was settled back into volunteering which by the way I started before Christmas next year I feel ready now to rejoin scouting as a volunteer which by the way since covid etc I stopped so it is pretty much baby steps but again understanding environment they know me get me don’t point me out for being an oddball LoL 😂 I don’t care 🤷🏾♀️

I remember I was asked did I want to go to the sensory room and it’s there but I wouldn’t actually know what to do with that so I said it was fine. This very friendly Slytherin actually. There brilliant 🤩 like that when you ask for help. I will never tire of the dvd 📀 I didn’t know they could just take you into the great hall. So when we went they let us into first slot I went up to the dvd at the front which they were about to show. They did ask if I needed someone there with me in the dvd but again I’m fine 🙂 that way I just need to be in front so I don’t get left behind. But that’s good you went to the great hall. That’ was very useful information ℹ️ but I will see how I am I think I can wait for my turn just again tell the lady I want to be at front. I find being small in size you then get pushed around a lot. When I reach the main hall I will ask about the dementors.

I remember when I went into the tour with mum she’s more ask they did say when we had reached the outside area but I wanted to see that before lunch so we also wanted to make our way back but direction wise we don’t know our left from right we’re a right pair LOl 😂 then you ask somebody on the autistic spectrum equals disaster so they let us through the secret passages and unknown that was when as we were walking at a quick pace back through the crowds. I then wanted to look at the photos which I’ve seen you and Maria etc went through too but I didn’t get too though 🫣🤫 there stood by the dragon 🐉 so for those with intense sensory issues can go through another way. But I’m fine a little intimidated but I don’t mind the dragon but first time I felt it was going to come right up close mum was should have been more closer I’m like NO. That happened to my brother so he ordered these shorts 🩳 for holiday when we celebrating mums 60th so treated her to the holiday right single mum and all so well earned right after the sacrifice and hardwork it then estimated it would come when we’re due to leave so ended up having to cancel and say we won’t accept it so don’t deliver. Then had to double make sure it wasn’t delivered there and then but it’s so frustrating when they do that also when people deliver stuff and throw it over your gate luckily it’s not delicate but we had it literally right by the gate so many times now it’s laziness lucky it wasn’t pricy but when one time out all day it’s saying we’re away mug us. Luckily the parcel was there and all that for a cheap t shirt 👕 and all LOl we were so cheesed off
See this is what is my drawback keeping myself busy that’s why more holiday and non term time I’m stuck at home more so than well what has become regular right it then impacts my moods and behaviour patterns severely . But then you say to people about your condition they get scared or instant she can’t or on guard. So then it’s so I not say but then there your too quiet why are you so quiet so it’s complicated right. So I’m glad you found somewhere to have full time work. I find it so hard to feel accepted my society even to find volunteering was such a pain I had to take mum along to explain it. So I’m glad your happy in your work its that much harder right to find understanding folks whom sit down and say where do you need help how can we help and you think just ask the person right it’s so rare and far between I find charity shops eg age concern are quite by nearby closed down though I did volunteer work in the shop I really enjoyed that unpacking once a month summer was plants 🪴 once a month brand new stock then I was reserve this bag reserve this diary this scarf I will get it when I have the Money this day then they were it’s fine take it when you come bring it but I was nope not until I pay for it so they reserved a locker with my name on the bag so nobody would touch it and they knew it was mine. That was funny 😆 so sad when it went as it got depressing when the shop was emptying out
@@VictoriaMaclean this is my issue right there when it’s the summer break from volunteering even the summer holidays it’s trying to keep sane right it’s very very hard as because I’m not street smarts I can’t go say for when so much a basic walk someone has to be with me for my own well-being but then walking 🚶♀️ is very far and between. So then it impacts the way I behave . But then it’s I can’t help it it’s doing my head in so I need to try we have a garden just sitting also trying to get me into just basil gardening 👩🌾 which I’m a bit aloof. I heard sitting there with your feet 👣 the ground earthing is meant to be very good for your overall me real health hands touching the soul no gloves. Obviously being with nature. I need more fresh air. I’m currently drinking tea out of a Gryffindor mug the lion and the red sculpted one that says brave I did what you use to first time I went tour I got it and the Harry mug instant reaction to the films . But o really want my house hufflepuff so the badger sculpted yellow but the issue is there doing the more ceramic white sculpted mugs which I don’t like that one it’s not available online either. I really want the hufflepuff one then Ravenclaw when I mailed them last time they assured me there still available exhibition when I went we’re very low on stock
