I totally understand what you're going through. I was diagnosed with panic disorder 6 years ago and it is so frustrating. It can be completely debilitating. It helped me, so much, to talk to other people. I felt like I was crazy. Explaining what was happening to others, who didn't have anxiety, was awful. My friend, who also suffers from anxiety helped me by letting me know that what I feel is completely normal. It runs on my father's side of the family and they all got it around the same age as me. I started seeing a psychiatrist and was prescribed meds, because it is so bad. I've been able to regulate my PAs for the most part and whenever they do happen, they're not nearly as bad. It's still hard, but I'm managing. Talking definitely helps. Something else that helped me was watching other people's videos about anxiety. It was so helpful for me to see so many people out there are having the same experiences and finding out how they deal with it. I am not saying meds are right for everyone, but they are for me. Just so you know that's not what I am suggesting. I hope you feel better soon!

Bless you ❤. It really is crippling, isn't it. I have meds, and they definitely help with the depression side of things. I have talked to sooo many people over the years, and now I'm at a point where I don't want to talk about it because it's been 22 years and I'm done talking about it 😆. Well done for regulating the PAs - they're the hardest for me and I need to work more on getting through them. Thank you for sharing, and stay strong 💪 ❤

Your work is BEAUTIFUL! I suffer from anxiety too. I'm 58 yrs old and I became a DIY nails during the pandemic by watching tutorials on RU-vid. It takes me hours to do my nails, but it does relieve my anxiety and everyone loves my nails (me too 😊). I want to try the different color swirls you did 🙏. TY again, new subscriber.

Thank you so much! ☺️ Ah I'm so glad doing nails is therapeutic for you. It's so important to have something like that when you're feeling anxious. Mine is Lego 🧱. It's a very expensive therapy 😆. Oh it 100% takes a lifetime to do your own nails! When I used to wear extensions, it was a 2-3 day process! 😆😆. Big bug 🐛 hugs to you (they are more squishy and nutritious than regular hugs - perfect for us anxious folk) and welcome to the gang! 🎉❤

I love this set so much! I think Holo Taco has cateyes now, and there are regular polish cateyes, so this could be done, though I know some things are a lot more faffy with regular polish! Being a nailtech sometimes helps suffering from anxiety & panic attacks for over 10yrs but it’s jus something I’ll never get used to no matter what medication or coping mechanisms there are, it’s physically & mentally exhausting & absolutely changes everything in your daily life..but being able to lose myself in my art helps sometimes & from your energy i would of never noticed by these videos that you also struggle with anxiety 🙏🏽🤎you & your work are amazing & helped in my nailart like you wouldn’t believe!🥰

Beautiful nails! This year has broke me. Between anxiety and depression, I haven’t felt like doing any nail stuff all year. Lost both of my furbabies within months of each other. I just feel empty inside. Hopefully 2024 will be better for everyone.

Absolutely love this set and the cat eye!! I have a panic disorder and agoraphobia. Agoraphobia is one of the worst anxiety disorders to have. I haven't been in public for nearly 6 years. I always felt alone. But doing nails has helped me cope at home.❤

I think these cat eyes are some of the best I’ve seen. They are gorgeous! 😻 I feel for you with your anxiety, I have it too. I’m extremely agoraphobic, and all sorts of other fun stuff that comes with it. Every Thursday I meet with my therapist, she’s amazing and I love to see her. But without failure, Monday comes around and my anxiety kicks in. It’s full blown by Wednesday, and by then I get so worked up, I start throwing up. Thursday morning comes around and panic is scary and I’m freaking out. But, when I get to my therapist, bam! I’m good to go for my session and feel so good after visiting with her. Then Monday rolls around and I start all over again. Rinse and repeat. 😆 I have to laugh, if I don’t, I’ll be crying and throwing up every day. Funny thing this last month, a change was made for one of my meds and now I’ve been having hallucinations. Good times. 👍 Geezus, talk about tripping balls. I’ve never had them before and all I can say is w0w. 😵‍💫 The funniest thing is that the med is used to help treat people to have less hallucinations. And now I’m having them. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Considering what’s happening in the world around us, I consider myself fortunate to have a great support system and really good doctors. Take care. 🫶

Omg that crystal nail is just 😘🤌🏻! You *are* getting better at crystal placement. I've found that the more of those your do, the more comfortable you get and the better the placements get. And omg this set of polishes! 🤩🤩🤩🤩 I've been dying for this set since they came out. But I'm trying to hold myself back lol. I buy so many gel polishes because they're pretty and then they just sit around taking up space and I don't use half of them. Glitter + Christmas = happiness 🤣🫶 Also - anxiety sufferer over here 🙋‍♀️ I bottled it up for ages and it was effecting everything, everyone around me. The best thing I ever did was go and speak to the dr! It has taken a Long long time to really work hard and I’m only just starting to push my boundaries to try and break my irrational anxiety! I’m sooo sorry to hear about the anxiety that you are experiencing. I have what would prolly be described as a “normal “ amount of anxiety but I do deal with other issues, prolly depression and hopelessness more than anything. I don’t know what is worse?!? These nails are sooo gorgeous!! Those polishes are AMAZING! I am so tempted to buy them! I am so sorry you are suffering with anxiety. Anxiety is hard. My husband used to have it really bad. When we first got together it was rough! Going to events was out of the question. I will tell you though it does get better. He had really bad symptoms of ptsd as well and has managed to overcome them. We can go to concerts now with no problems. Aaaahhhh! So pretty! I wish Born Pretty delivered to where I am, but they don't. 😭 Don't appologize for talking about anxiety. A lot of us live with it and I find it's important people hear about it in which ever field of work they are. I mention it freely as well and notice some people live with it and have no idea what it is or why they feel the way they do. A lot of them feel guilty about how they feel, and they shouldn't. It's nothing they did. So I'm always glad when you mention it here and there and still show and talk about the amazingly awesome happy nail stuff. I already painted my toesies Christmassy sparkly. When I get down and look down it makes me happy. :D And hopefully when others have let-head-hang-low kind of day, they might see my sparkly toes and maybe it can bring a bit of happy to them. Here where I live for the time being it is hot for Christmas, so I'm wearing a lot of sandals. Makes sense that my toes should look happy. :)

Holy fucking moley!!! Those cat eyes are amazing, as are you honey. I am currently sporting a galaxy set comprising of cat eye back ground magneticified to form a galaxy, with the phases of the moon stamped on each nail (full moon on thumbs etc) with a little surprise. These nails are in your honour & I love them so much, I will be sad to remove them. Sorry that you have been struggling lovely. I feel I have to constantly justify myself, amongst other demons. You may think this is a little silly, but like so many of your other subscribers, I suffer from anxiety and when I can't sleep I put one of your videos on, (especially the live streaming one that lasts for 4 hours lol) and it helps me relax enough to sleep as long as I can hear your voice in the background. Had to pop back in over real quick to say that yesterday I received my BP order of these cat eyes (“Glass Reflective Cat Eye”) and they are, w/o a doubt, THE prettiest gel polishes I have ever seen. Hard to imagine, but these genuinely look 100x better in-person…photos/videos don’t do it justice! Thanks for the showcase, super excited to put them to use. And there will maybe, most-definitely, probably for certain be some peer pressuring going on when clients are choosing their colors/designs. In fact, I may just toss all 999 of my polish collection and just offer these 6 options 🤣🤣 I mean what more could you want?!?

Ey Joseph I hear you... Anxiety is shit! I'm suffering too... I lost my mum in June 1st Xmas without her & got an endoscopy tmrw to see how my cancer is doing (I was told I may only hv a Yr left in 2019 but I'm still here😁) & straight after that I've got a bone density scan to attend because of my osteoporosis 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ffs.. I've had 8 clients this week & my god my work has not been upto standard.... How do you manage to stay focused when anxiety kicks in cos I need the same focus as you😉 beautiful set as per usual hun xx sending big warm hugs to you & and Dex 😘😘

Oh my goodness, that is a lot for one set of shoulders. I'm so sorry for your loss, and I'm so sorry for your health issues. You are giving cancer the middle finger and that's amazing. I will be thinking of you tomorrow (today now) and praying for good news. Keep fighting that bastard with all your might. I am rubbish at work when I'm having really bad anxiety. When I used to have loads of clients, I would really struggle. I think the best thing to do is tell your client how you are feeling, explain that you might be a bit quiet, and if they're a decent human being, they'll understand. I think the scariest thing for me was when I had clients that were new-ish, and I didn't know how they would react if I suddenly needed to step out for a minute. It's important to have clients that are understanding, because you will feel less anxious if you know they're not going to get annoyed if you need to take a break to refocus. The only clients I have now have been coming for years, so if I'm having a bad day I put some episodes of Modern Family on, and we are pretty much silent. Or I'll ask them to talk a lot about everything that's happened since I last saw them, and I just focus on what I'm doing (not really taking in what they're saying!) I also say the alphabet backwards in my head, as it makes my brain think about that instead of being anxious. I think the best advice is to make your work area a 'safe place' with things that calm/comfort you. Be honest with your client about how you're feeling, and put on some episodes of your comfort show. I'm rambling, sorry! Let me know how you get on with tests. I will cross everything for you 🤞. Much ❤.

Absolutely beautiful, as always! 😍 I absolutely understand the anxiety issues. I was diagnosed with anxiety disorder when I was about 16 years old (among a whole host of other mental illnesses), and it can be absolute hell. It can range from a mild feeling of something being wrong, and/or something is going to go wrong, all the way to being completely debilitating. I'm waiting for mine to kick into overdrive because I lost my Mom today and I have to go fill out all of the paperwork, death certificate and obituary tomorrow evening before I can have her cremated. 😭

Oh my goodness, I am so so sorry for your loss. I really hope it doesn't heighten your anxiety; you know what, I sometimes think that the constant hum of anxiety can sometimes 'help' in really bad situations, because our bodies are somewhat immune to scaryness because we feel it so often for no reason. Oh I am so sorry for your loss - I cannot imagine how hard that is. Please know that I am sending the biggest hug to you - I wish I could give you one in real life. I know it seems silly to say, but remember how strong you have been to get through all the anxiety you have got through in life, every P.A, every horrible day, you have survived them all, and you will get through all the incredibly difficult things you have to do now - you will get through it. You are strong, and you will automatically do everything you need to do to make a special send off for your mummy. She will be watching over you and she will be proud of however you handle it. Even if you struggle through it, remember that each day will end in pyjamas and bed, and you can exhale and rest your mind. So much love to you right now. ❤❤❤❤❤

I truly don't even know what to say other than; thank you, from the bottom of my broken heart. ❤❤❤ It has been a horrible week, but now that she is gone, I know that she can rest peacefully. That's one concern taken care of, so now I just have to deal with the paperwork and money. I ended up having to create a GoFundMe because her cremation is going to cost almost $2,200, which is insanity. I didn't get as much help as I had hoped, but the funeral home is willing to take what we have now and work with us, so please pray that the fundraiser keeps getting donations because I still have almost $2,000 to come up with. 😭
