Hi! Here's another crochet tutorial! This time I will teach you how to create a crochet monstera leaf! I have made this tutorial as beginner friendly as possible so everyone is able to follow along. Awesome! Im going to try to make a granny square around this. I think it would be doable because of the leaf’s round shape. The leaf was exactly what I needed though, thank you!

@@KristinesDay what a coincidence! 😅 I’ll definitely still be watching that haha. Also unrelated, but I have a question. I have a pattern for a small bird that would fit inside of a granny square but I’ve been stumped for days trying to actually design the granny square around it, because of the odd shape of the bird. Would you have any advice for working a square around such an odd shape? If needed I can write out the pattern (only if you wanted to mess around with it of course) for the bird. It’s a very short and simple pattern though have a great day!

I would attach it at the end by weaving it through the middle part of the leaf :)

Because these plants grow to be like 40ft tall with leaves that can reach up to about 4ft in diameter... they are MONSTEROUS. Plants are often named in Latin, so looking at it from that point of view it just means it's very big.
