Girl, you should definitely play Coffee Talk! It’s a chill game! You’re a barista and you make coffee for your customers and you hear them talk about their life and gossip and stuff. It also plays chill music in the background, I’d totally recommend! 🥰
I really wanted to like Coffee Talk but I just didn't. There wasn't any options for you as the player to choose dialogue to interact which just felt like a big disconnect.
Sky: Children of the Light is a super cozy game. The soundtrack is amazing. the best I’ve ever heard in any game. The art style and the storyline is so wholesome.
There is a game on Steam called Lemon Cake that is pretty cozy. You run a once abandoned bakery and bring it back to life with the help of a little ghost. You can unlock upgrades as you go. There is a Cat Cafe upgrade that adds a Cat tree to your bakery, cats will chill on it and some customers will adopt them 😊. It's such a cute game 🥰
ps. i think you would enjoy "Unpacking." it's such a cute little game with a aesthetic pixelated style. you just unpack boxes and see a story come along it's really chill and cute
You should really play “calico” is so cute and aesthetic and pastel and it justs so cute and fun. Your basically a cat cafe owner and you find animals to be in your cafe while meeting people from your town and doing quest and earning money. And with that money you can get furniture for your cafe aka your house aswell and you can also buy cute outfits and stuff for your character and buy recipes for your cafe. Its super funnn
I absolutely love Spiritfarer and I can't wait to try out some of your recommendations. It can be difficult to find games that aren't just about shooting people/zombies/monsters, so thank you for this video!
I love the goose game! I also love one called Love Colors which is like a paint by number but it’s pixel-style. Really relaxing and some are more intricate and some are more simple
Child of Light? I absolutely love that game. I bought it on Steam and the PS Vita, will buy for Switch, it is currently on sale in Sept 2021. Another game I recommend to relax and play on Switch is ABZU, it is gorgeous. And so chill! As for puzzles, I would love to see you review Gorogoa. It is such a unique game.
You should definitely try Haven Park if you haven’t already! It’s very similar to A Short Hike, you’ve inherited a camping ground and basically go between campsites to maintain them, as well as complete little quests as you discover each campsite. It’s a really cute and chill game :)
I played this amazing game called Forgotton Anne, and it blew my mind, its so good and the art is amazing! Idk if it’s available on the switch tho, but its like the best game I ever played, its so underrated
I just finished Wytchwood I highly recommend it. It’s stunning visually, it’s a fun seek and find crafting game and it actually took a couple days for me to play it through so you get a couple days to a week of gameplay out of it for only like $20 on the Nintendo store. Later alligator was also super cute and relaxing but it’s super fast
So many amazing games!! 😍 I have played and loved so many from your list - especially Spiritfarer and The Last Campfire - both gorgeous and ultimately cosy. I have heard mixed things about Cosy Grove, but you might have convinced me to give it a go!
ones i recommend that have similar vibes to things you've mentioned are Rime and Spirit of the North. Both of them are a little laggy on the switch, but still worth playing imo. in Rime you play as a young boy on a Greek-style island, running around solving puzzles that aren't too difficult but not too easy either, but eventually as you keep playing you realise each of the stages is themed around a stage of grief. I'm not going to spoil the story though! And Spirit of the North is slightly similar, except you play as a fox solving puzzles in an arctic landscape, along with a spirit-fox guide to lead you through the levels. I've not finished it yet because some of it is kind of difficult but it's quite fun in a slightly spooky way.
‘Everything’ is a game not talked about but if you ponder the meaning of life and philosophy in general .. then give it a go. Utterly unique & almost endless. It’s like no other game I’ve ever played.
this was so good for me, ive been needing some good games. Funnily, i was already considering Cozy Grove and The Gardens Between; i play Untitled Goose Game and Yonder: the Cloud Catcher Chronicles. thanks so much
“cozy” switch games i like! > Spirit of the north. It’s a game about a fox and a spirit and you complete puzzles to go through the story. > Calico. My favorite of this list, It’s a game about having a cat cafe and going on quests to unlock new areas and stuff. Only one of the list I completed. > Little Mouse’s Encyclopedia. A cute game where you are a mouse looking at things in different areas. Plants, animals, bugs. It has it all. It has no main plot. > Teacup. You play as a frog who likes tea and goes out and about looking for tea for a tea party.
Teacup and cattails (maybe? not sure if it's quite "cosy" but I find it to be hella relaxing) are wonderful! Teacup is very short but is super duper relaxing and the art and soundtrack are both beautiful. It's less than £8 and I got it on sale, I'd say it's worth it
interesting, I didnt know cosy groove, the last campfire and the gardens between. Definitely recommend a short hike! I didnt play donut county but watched streamers playing it and it's very fun!!
Currently playing cozy grove, at first I was okay with just having a few quests a day but there are days where some bears don’t even have a have a quest for you. It makes the game feels even more dragged out. Of course I could manipulate time, but since I am playing on my pc I don’t wanna mess up my calendar. It’s a nice game but I wish I had just brought it for my switch instead.
moonlighter, i didn't expect to like it as much as i did but i'm obsessed. it's beautiful and simple and has so many fun aspects like dungeons and owning your own shop and having to guess what'll sell for what price. it's just really cute but also short if you're like me and get hyper fixated easily!
i saw gris in the nintendo shop for 75% off so i had to get it and it was possibly one of the most beautiful games i have ever played . thank u for recommending bc i probably would’ve skipped over it otherwise !
Thank you so much for these recommendations! I love playing games that are immersive but calming at the same time. I’ll definitely be checking these out!
Absolutely adore a bunch of the games you mentioned! ♡ Especially Gris!! Such a beautifully stunning game ♡ And I'm so keen to try out the ones I'd never heard of before, they all look so delightful!
Hiii this recomendations were amazing!!! But you should definitely try Sky, it's such a beautiful, cozy game with a deep meaning and it has amazing art work. It also has amazing quests and it'll always keep you busy!!! 💗💗
If you haven’t yet, you should definitely play Grow Song of The Evertree. It is so calm and nice! You grow places on this enormous tree and clean the place up and make it full of nature again. I definitely recommend! It’s very calm and cozy!
The Wild at Heart is wonderful. It's a cozy puzzle game with little Spritelings and squishy monsters and frogs and shrooms. I just finished it today and loved it.
I think that you’d really like color zen it’s really relaxing while still giving a challenge it’s beautiful and simple with a really nice sound track that helps with relaxing
Thanks for these fab reccs! The pronouncement of "Gris" is "Gree" with a rolling "r". It's French for the colour Grey, which is representative of the core of the game, before collecting the colours back 😁
Thank you! You choose wonderful games, few I played, the rest I added to my wish list. . Here are some that I have and you didn't mention, try them, maybe you like them too: - Woven - my first game on my console, while I was waiting for ACNH release - Ori - beautiful design and sounds 🥰 - Deemo - well, I love piano music, so it is lovely to play some soft music on Switch - State Of Mind - is not so cozy, but somehow it still soothing - Warroom - gosh, it is like a game of slime kneading 😆 - Sky: children of the Light - ofcourse, who doesn't like Sky 😌 - Spirit of The North - you play as a fox again, plus ghost fox, graphics amazing Maybe you already played some of them, but as you said, share what games we like to play 😊 My kids don't take my console, because, as they say, all my games are boring, lack of action 😄
I need a cup of cozy white chocolate coffee whit this cozy games 😀😁❤ my favoriete cozy games are cat quest 1 and 2,animal crossing hollow knight, lost world beyond the page and Mario deluxe. I loved you,re video. I endjoyed it so mutch. Can you do a part 2 please? Thank you. Have a great day. Greetings from parna donkers from the Netherlands 👋🏾😁
I don’t know if it’s on the switch - but it’s on steam and Xbox called Unpacking. Very short game, but you basically unpack this persons belongings into a room/flat/house at different stages of their life. With each level you learn more about them through their belongings. Another relaxing game I like is House Flipper.
Not that it's important🙃, but "Gris" means the color grey in french. We do not pronounce the "s" and our "i" sounds like your "e". If I was to write how to pronounce it in English it would be "gree". Just though it might be interesting and thanks for the recommandations definitely going to try some of them 🥰
I bought Yonder a few months ago as the 2nd or 3rd Switch game I ever bought. Many people commented about it on other videos, including someone who said they were in their 70s and absolutely loved it. I did not like it at all. I thought the mapping system wasn’t that great (I come from a past of RPG, Action and Adventure games on other consoles). I found myself continuously lost. That was still okay but the worst was that on my Switch, it looks extremely blurry. I tried to change all the possible settings but it is still oh so blurry, I always get tired eyes and a headache while playing it. I only play handheld by the way. Maybe docked, it looks better. Leaving this long comment in case someone is looking into it. I like the other games though, I have a few days left on Cozy Grove after playing for almost 60 days (I did not cheat and change the dates on my console, I am playing it the way it should be played) 🥳. Had been debating the goose game for the longest time, might grab it, love to support small developers 🥰
