Keep taking us with you and my jaw hit the floor on how expensive that bubblegums was. That’s outrageous. I’m in Michigan and ours are running around $6 bucks. Which I think is crazy!! Gardening gives me such joy but the cost is getting out of control. I’m currently trying to make a garden bed and I rototilled most of it but am sheet mulching the ends and the actual edges.. plain old top soil, will run me $100 if I’m lucky to finish it up! It makes me want to cry 😭 😂❤

Thank you for telling us the price of most of the plants there! I love watching videos where the prices of each plant is said out loud instead of withholding that info. Plant names and descriptions are great but I need to know if can I afford it! 😂 Also lovely tour, that nursery is massive!

That’s insane about Supertunia being $9.99 each! Come back to the Roseville Green Acres. Also, don’t forget for us in this area, those come back so don’t rip them after their show.

Omg! Huge! I would want a golf cart or something to drive around the place to shop. Heaven! The prices are a bit steep. I found PW bubblegum at Lowes for $6.99…still higher than it used to be.

Holly smokes that place is expensive. I wish you lived near me in Oregon we would get in trouble lol. I bought that same spiraea and mine was 10.95. These prices make you wish you ran a nursery so you could get things at cost.

I love Wyntour though it is quite expensive! You still got a better deal on those Supertunia Vista Bubblegum than I did though. I bought mine from proven Winners Direct and paid 15 extra in shipping. I didn't realize Wyntour was carrying Proven Winners until just recently when I saw Janey's video. Anyways that place is great and the plants are well cared for. They carry Redwood seeds too which I love because that company is local (in Lassen area) and their seeds are already adapted to our hot dry climate. Thanks for the fun video!

I bought orange rocket barberries because I couldnt resist the fiery color. But I did place them in the veryyyyy back of my garden bed😅

I bought two straggling bubblegum last week. Prices are what I paid last year for a gallon size. There were not anymore supertunia that day.

Plants are definitly getting pricey everywhere. I recently scored with a 75% off sale of plants at my local big box garden center. All they needed was some water and the next morning they were all standing up smiling at the sun! Then he had a pile of small 4 inch plants in a cardboard box. I asked what he was doing with them and he was throwing them out!!!!!! I asked if I could have them. They are all planted and doing amazing. Kind of like thrift shopping for the garden.

Im finding it so fun to watch your videos. Just a regular home garden that we can relate to. Thanks for that. Im in Canada, zone 3. Many things you have as perennial can just be annual for me. 😢 As for thr prices, ahhhhhh ,sticker shock when i convert to what it would be in Canadian funds. Lol

Dang that $10 bubblegum. My HD in LA area had them at $5.98 Friday and get 10% off if you buy 6 or more. I grabbed 10 and paid $5.38 each😝. But I am pretty sure after this weekend they will all be gone.

Hi Robbie. Certainly a different view than yesterday in your garden on naked gardening day. Lol. The variety at that nursery was awesome. I am glad you showed the DA roses and sorry you forgot to pick it up. The zone went up to 11 and I am in 10A and had no idea that I could have a DA rose in my garden. Going to have to do some research. I remember when the terracotta pots were inexpensive. No longer the case for anything garden related. Thanks for taking us with you and Brent (was he really there?)

This is why 90% of my garden is clearance plants. I live in Southern California. Every nursery down here is equally as pricey. Who has this kind of spare money? Certainly not the people who actually like getting their hands in the dirt.

That place is gorgeous but the prices are a bit too high. That standard hydrangeas I found one at Lowe’s for 80 and the price of the 1 gallon hydrangeas are 29. Bubblegum for $10!! That’s highway robbery. You better overwinter that plant. 😂

Do you find it a little irresponsible for a garden center to sell shrubs that aren't compatible with your growing zone? Why set customers up for failure?
