The famous plain or blueberry pie
Hello and welcome to my channel.
We are going to make a regional, historical and emblematic dessert of the Pyrenees.
It’s the Pyrenees pie. Here it will be blueberries. You can do nature if you see it.
For the record, it was served at family celebrations, weddings and communions.
#Ingredients:
200g flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
120g butter
100g of sugar
3 eggs
3 spoons with rum soup
1 cup of coffee with vanilla extract
125g of myrtles
Sugar icing for decoration
Step 1: Prepare the eggs, separate the yolk from the white, reserve the whites. Mix the egg yolks with the sugar, vanilla and rum.
Step 2: Add the previously melted butter, flour and baking powder and mix until you obtain a smooth dough.
Step 3: Beat the egg whites until stiff (always with a brush of salt) and gently incorporate them into the preparation.
Step 4: Then add the blueberries for a fruity side.
Step 5: Place the pie mold in the oven, pour the dough and bake it for 55 minutes at 165°C. Check the cooking with the tip of the knife. And unmold and let cool!
Sprinkle with icing sugar before enjoying!
