My husband generally likes everything I put on, however each time I wear something musky or powdery with a hint of floral, he loves those scents on me, like Byredo Rose of No Man's Land, Une Histore de Femme Sensuelle by Mauboussin, Prada infusion D'Iris and similar ones...
My husband hates Portrait of a lady. I hate it too, but a friend send me a pretty big decant and I promised her that I will try it a few times more. He also hates Baccarat Rouge 540. This one I don't love, but I don't hate either. I think that a lot of men actually hate strong fragrances or too many sprays, not necessarily that smell. Maybe it s not a rule, but I saw this also at my sister's husband and a few of our friends.
Have you checked if these perfumes have a common note? My husband and I both collect perfumes and appreciate them very much. I definitely have a few in my collection that he isn't a fan of but there are a few in his collection that literally make me sick. It might be aldehydes as that is the common thread between them. it's not just a dislike but an actual physical reaction. i always ask him to wash it off if he intends to stay close to me lol.
My hubby loves la rose by Delina , love dont be shy , and Bella by Vince camuto. He does not like exclusif at all . I think when they smell it to strong it turns them off . Lol .
It’s fresh but very sweet.😂 idk if that makes sense. It’s a very sweet musk, at least to me. Have you smelled Musk Therapy? To me it’s in the same category. It’s like Musk Therapy but with a ton of sugar, and instead of black currant, there’s clementine. I hope I made some sense🤣🤦🏻♀️
Not too sweet to me. There are tons of other much sweeter and heavier perfumes out there. Signature has some fresh, sharp, almost pungent note to brighten it up, so it feels fresh all the time.
i also dont like Amouage it smells like grandma and so does Chanel lol im lucky my husband cant smell much so he doesnt really care unless i tell him to smell my arm. He thought that BDK pas ce soir smelled liked kitchen spices so thats not good or bad lol
It’s actually the sandalwood. I also used to think it’s the chestnut so I got the just Rock version and smelled the same thing in it. And that one doesnt have chestnut
White florals smell like grandma to us men. But women seem to love them. Juicy Couture, CH Very good girl are the ones I love on my girl. They are so sexy.
@@NatalieDavis I can only give you my perspective but I think you are right. Check out Scandel for women and Mon Paris Intensement by YSL. Soooooooo sexy. We just want a girl to smell sexy at night. Chanel Coco Mademoiselle is a good daytime office scent for a woman I think. You won’t have your male co workers all over you lol. But yeah we generally like sexy designer scents for the night. Niche isn’t that great for women perfum, at least in my opinion.
