Gotcha, and how about from the handlebars? Is that routed down through the expander plug or is another hole made by the stem? Tempted to give a SL6 frame the same treatment!
@@Ditlev. I will make a full video about this build in Jan (hopefully). Will show all the details there. But if you are not worried about extra 100g, then I’d recommend using a Deda EDG DCR fork like I did on my Aethos.
The frame is actually stronger as the hole has been removed and carbon reinforced. Same for the fork leg. The steer is 3mm thicker in that place and was also reinforced from inside (17g of carbon is a lot), so I’m pretty sure it will withstand anything that non-modified frame will.
