The solution guys is to wait a day or two before trying again And also there are other forms you can fill which will also force Facebook to send you an email. Specifically, the report harassment and bullying form. Enter your email that’s not receiving the code there and this time you will get an email from fb confirming your report
In method 2 when I was submitting the form after i filled in my name and gmail. It shows it sent me an otp code on my email. But when i checked my recent emails there was no code

Hello, Thank you for explaining in detail. I tried the second method as my instagram email already has facebook account registered. When i tried to report on instagram help centre, it said to proceed you need to enter security code which is sent to your email address. and as usual code never arrived, on my yahoo mail so my request for submitting report didnt pass through. how do i recover my instagram account which has yahoo mail in it ? have i lost it forever 😞
Well bummer, I was really hopeful this would fix my issue since I got the Privacy Policy email, but still not getting the password reset or security code emails. 😢
@@mostinho7 I think I tried logging in after 12 hours, and didn't get the security code email, and then waited 48 hours to try again and still didn't get the security code email. I'm going to try it again without doing anything for 48 hours
@@mostinho7 ran through again, this time waiting a full 48-hours after the Privacy Policy email before doing anything on the Instagram site, still no account email. :(
did it work after waiting 48 hrs? i did that same thing, all the steps were really helpful but then I got "Enter confirmation code sent to email" and then still not getting the confirm code. I am going to try waiting 48 hrs b/c I do anything.
The code is not sending to my email. I tried everything. With and without fb. Pls help me out. Nothing from Instagram is incoming to my email. It's not in spam, and yes I made sure it's the correct email. I've been trying everything for a week now.

I used the second method. Everything goes well until I request a login link. Instagram never emails me the link. Does the email I use have to be linked to a Facebook account? My email isn't linked to a FB account so that may be causing the issue. I hate how unnecessarily complicated this is. All this trouble becouse I logged in from a different browser.
Doesn't work anymore unfortunately. The confirmation code never arrives - the rest of the links do work, but it doesn't work at the last stage. Does anyone have an idea how to fix the confirmation code issue?
@@izzylieI managed to do it eventually, the confirmation code wasn’t coming up but after I requested it probably 100 times in a few hours, I did receive it. Thanks anyways lol

@@gulzada0001they say something about this on their support page that unverified accounts might be hidden from other users. Try to see if you can verify your account with ID or selfie for this stupid company to let your account be normal again

same here, also trying out right now. I did receive the privacy message. but my impatient ass still requested a password again. I'm going to wait for 2-3 days and try again. But my case is odd. Because my instagram at some point started lagging like crazy becuase it was trying to authenticate me but it's lagged and flickered so hard that i couldn't physically press anything, it kept refreshing itself over and over till error page. and I feel like it's because I kept logging in an out a couple of times a day (detox is doing not so good) and also I started using that authenticator app, And I was fooling around with VPN and sometimes I would forget that it's On. So they temporarily restricted my account?? but it's not blocked, becuase it is visible for other accounts. My facebook was not linked and the login kept telling me that my gmail not found, but at the same time I know for sure it's correct because of the authenticator app which is linked to the email. I hope this way will work too! will get back at you

I never comment on videos but the first method worked for me, I was worried I had lost my account for good but luckily I found this video to help out. Thanks dude.

The 48 hour wait, is it after requesting the email with the password reset or 48 hours after receiving the privacy email and before requesting the password reset email?
set up the email with my current fb account received the confirm email adresss email from meta then tried to send the reset from the instagram account and still havent received recieved one :( will keep updated

Hi ive done everything and its still not working for me. when I confirm the email, it doesn't do anything. still says pending confirmation despite receiving email from Facebook. this hasn't changed the blacklist. I'm going to try second method but I'm worried it still won't work.
Thanks for all your help. At the moment the code Facebook sent to the new added Instagram email address stated incorrect when I copied and pasted the code from my gmx account email into the Facebook confirmation !!!! Now it is staying there is a temporary error and I should try again later. The added email on Facebook for my Instagram account is currently showing “confirmation pending”. What a complete and utter shambles and incompetence from a very major company!!!
I wrote to Instagram several times and still got no answer, my account was suddenly blocked after being asked to verify by email code, not having set an email in my account, Instagram automatically generated one that I don't have access to.

I’ve been locked out of it since April and found a site that says account may be deleted after six months for lack of activity. Hello, when I tried forcing instagram to send an email through Instagram data policy like you said on your video, when I submit it, it asked me to input an email OTP code which is my problem. The email I put is the one I am using on my instagram account that I cannot login because of no email verification code issue. I hope there is still a way to solve my problem through your help. While waiting for the password email, something else incredibly strange happened. My account has been taken over by a bot, new account name and profile pic, many new fake followers but my photos are all there (I saw this through a friend’s account). Do you know why and is there anything else I can do except for following this process and wait for the email?

okay now the problem is when i add that email address to facebook account for register..The code received in my yahoo is not accepted by facebook confirmation.

I received privacy policy message on email, then I clicked forget password using a browser as you said, I put my email then it said “user not found” so I put my username instead and it said it’ll send a message to my email ☠️. Will that work? I’ll wait for 48hours
So I have a weird problem, I can’t reset my password because the Mail with the link won’t come checked spam and all. The odd thing is that I have another Instagram account with the same email there it works fine, same with Facebook. Also I get notification mails from Instagram for the account where I want to change the password, just not the one with the link, sms also doesn’t work for the link. Received the policy email. If the login link doesn’t send right away, does that mean it will be 48 hours or does is vary? Can the email come any time within 48 hours??
I got the email after trying the second method in about 10 minutes; however, I tried requesting a recovery email that never shows up. Should I have waited 48 even if I received the email shortly after?
This is what I randomly did The 1st method worked, but 2nd step did not. So here is how I randomly solved my issue. I added a forwarded email request to another email like Gmail or whatever and did a password reset on IG, and the password reset was sent to that email.
