Should an artist today, prick his finger, and put a little human blood above his/her signature on back of his painting? Would that be good enough to authenticate his painting a few hundred years down the line?

I had to laugh out loud at the 7 minute mark. "There's one pigment we don't want to find in Patrick's picture--titanium white" I use a fair amount of titanium white in my paintings.

So, I like the unfinished version better... it seems more 'modern' in a way.

I wonder how P.M rates Thomas Roberts , Arthur Streeton and Frederick McCubbin . They remind me somewhat , of Constable .

Forgive me, I'm a big fan of Philip, but I think a line is being crossed here. Yes of course your gallery is always featured at some point in the BBC's Fake or Fortune, but using that connection to publicise your private business interests is wrong in my opinion.
