The old version is now called Master’s. Which will still continue. FW: is like a soft reset, derived from One Piece tcg…which was derived from DBS Masters. Theory: they wanted to convert the original Masters to digital, but they couldn’t find the optics on how to allow people to put their cards into digital form, plus there are so many mechanics, things have been getting odd, FW helped solve that with the reset.
Huh…people have been saying that frieza deck is the best. Thing about green which I play is if you can’t ramp, you can’t win. I particularly hate facing red decks because most of the most useful cards I got can be nuked by them
@@vaquishers I just think it is funny that right now green is getting so much hate but I've seen frieza and when more people realize it the hate will shift

Completely agree. Art went downhill with fusion world. The whole thing is just hype. Have you seen the new goku card for DBS masters? Insane. Now that’s a nice card. The ss3 goku SCR is fire as well.
I collect both cards games and I think the design and art of master look better, but the foiling technique they use for FW is of another level. The first sets of Master and One Piece also didn't look that great but improved with each new set. That SCR3 Goku looks insane indeed!
I love the more lowkey vibe of pack openings. it always brings me back to being a kid and the excitment of opening packs and seeing all the cool cards and thinking about how to us them. Watching these vids always makes me want to buy a box just to open the packs
I played that original beta for this game that had the original DB card game that is now called Masters and I think it was that beta that convinced them to make a new game. You were either matched up with another player who had no idea how to play or someone that had been playing for years and they stomped you. I also think they would have run into the master duel issue of being delayed months for new cards or they are like MTG Arena where the game is up to date with sets but is missing a lot of the back catalog. So starting fresh just makes sense to me. Just a shame that DB Masters missed out on having their own digital client
It’s disappointing to hear that the older DB TCG with better art work disappeared and they gave us an “easier” version with plain art work. Hopefully they’ll improve in the future
I honestly like this game more than expected so far. I run a Frieza deck and it’s fun. Id definitely like to see you do more openings on it. Both physical and virtual.

Yea so FW is a simpler version of MASTERS. They even made the same starting changes from FW (full mulligan and energy marker) for MASTERS. So if anyone wanted a bit more complexity in the game they can go from FW to MASTERS easier. Just have to learn the jargon for masters.
yellow can beat green tho so not totally unbalanced and I think the goku red decks can apply enough pressure to beat green early aggro is their weakness. Beerus just struggles more because its too slow against green. Also androids is the weakest green deck so doubt they touch that, if this game is anything like one piece ban lists they won't be doing any ban list in early sets.
Man, the more I see of the dragonball card games, the sadder I get about MTG special treatments like foils and etched foils....Wish they did some cool embossed foils with raised details like dbs fusion world. (and that they didnt curl like pringles chips.)
I think Fusion world is like Duel links for Dragon ball This essentially A reboot of DBS card game We will eventually get all other mechanics in the other game.
I got lucky and my local collector figure shop had a box for 150 . i pulled the SCR * art of the instinct goku and a few other super rares. nice box. but my digial packs were terrible , out of all 20 somethings packs digital only got like 2 SR and bad cards lol
As far as I know the old DB TCG (known as "Masters") is still going on and will get support, assuming as long as it sells. Fusion world seems like its supposed to be more simple I guess? Almost seems like What duel links or speed duel was for yugioh except also a reboot of the sorts? It's very strange over all. I'm honestly 100% convinced that they couldnt decide how to handle release times if they made masters into a online app like they originally planned as well as some kind of programming incompetence(they actually mentioned problems to program all the tcg mechanics), fusion world seems like it was made because they were struggling to make masters into an online app. Also ya fusion world art is inferior to masters, they also took away cards having unique titles in their names. Now Goku cards are just "Goku"
if rhyme is complaining about the color stuff can't wait till he knows about the duel colored if fusion world will introduced duel color. Duel color means there can be 2 colors on the leader. So if a goku has red he can have green as we'll
