My 69 year old mom was murdered on 7 July 2000 at the hands of someone who she gave a home to a few years before for a while. We were fortunate that the man was caught the very next day and did not have to go through the additional trauma of not knowing who did it. I became infatuated with true crime and at a point in life had to stop it. My daughter introduced me to the the TCSA podcast a couple of months ago, and being skeptical to listen to other people's heart break stories gave it a try. I fell in love with Nicole's way of telling the sad stories of so many victims in SA and that opened my true crime obsession from the start ... 24 years later, I love reading, listening and watching anything true crime :-) Every time Nicole ends a podcast with 'Name' rest in peace, I pray for the families left behind who has to deal with the trauma. Thank you Nicole for brining each person and their families to life when we are listening to your podcasts
LOOOOVE the podcast. Nicole's dedication to True Crime in SA and her ability to bring South African stories to light is remarkable. Her empathy for the victims and their families truly sets her apart as a storyteller. Nice interview!
It's a privilege to listen to you Nicole. The amount of time and research you do with actual facts and the way you feel for victims and their families say so much about what an amazing Woman you are
I've had the immense privilege of meeting Nicole and hearing her share about 'how' she creates and approaches the stories she shares on her podcast. Her heart for the victim and their families is what sets her apart. Nicole, you're in a class of your own! Loved this interview!
