Would you think that Goals would be good for 100+ metrics? Additionally, could you have different formats like percentages, yes/no results, etc.? Lastly, how do you think an executive would use/access this?
1. yes, I don't see any issue having 100+ metrics, if I understand correctly 2. Currently formats is predetermined in Goals and it is in Public preview. There is more flexibility in future roadmap. Please check on Power BI site for details 3. You can share workspace or share on Teams, outlook or provide the link to scorecard same way you share the Power BI reports
Hi, I've created a PowerBI report from a KPI/Goal scorecard, however the status shows up as a number rather than the status such as Ontrack, finished, not started etc. How can I have the status in my powerbi report???? thanks
You can create a new column and use the switch function Status Value = SWITCH('Values'[Status], 1, "On track", 2, "At Risk", 3, "Behind", 4, "Overdue",5, "Completed", "Not Started")
@@neusoltechnologies144 Thanks for the reply , I dont seem to be able to create a new column online or desktop. I cannot view the data table as I normally would?
@@mudda1994 Step1. Create a new Power BI file with one standard table in Power BI desktop Step2. Go to File menu->Options and settings->Options->Preview features and check the box DirectQuery for PBI datasets and AS if that is not already checked Step3. Bring your Power BI scorecard dataset in there Step4. You should be able to create new column in your datamodel and create the column that I provided you earlier
