in better times ! From all accounts they are getting divorced, James no longer wears a wedding ring and he has been very emotional onstage lately. Of course these are rumours but it kinda pans out, the kids are all grown up so now would be the time.
I've seen this group about 25 times in three different countries. There is nothing that can change the mood of a baying crowd like the playing of The Ecstasy of Gold. The day will come when this great music will be played and anyone who hears it will think Metallica are just about to walk in.
as a 48 year old man who does not get emotional hardly ever, the sound of that song brings me to tears , I guess I awe of the greatest band ever, or maybe what they've stood for in my life, or something. I love this so much.
What a great video! Francesca is so supportive with James, nice to see them both been a real couple after so many dark years. Thanks for sharing this jewel.
@@VapnFagan Hahahaha WHY DON'T YOU BUY A LITTLE PIECE OF SENSE before talking? I mean, for you, to be supportive implies Francesca (or anybody) should keep a hell of relationship no matter what? Until she dies is good for you? I guess she must remain another 25 years just to be considered a supportive woman under your watch, don't you? (If not, if she stop it because she can't going on... "ohhh no she is NOTHING, she never was a supportive woman) 😆 wtf. Sometimes people needs to lose something in order to wake up, she always was the strongest element in that marriage (James words) and James is a great man with a lot of issues, I am pretty sure they will find a way to keep on as friends and parents, if you don't know about their long story my friend, you should start right now.
Imagine being castor and being asked at school... so castor what does your father do for a living.. he'd be like my father is James Hetfield he sings and plays guitar in a band called metallica and is known to the world to be the biggest rock god in heavy metal music.. what does your father do for a living teacher!!
Wish they would do Belle Isle again. The people got lucky with the surprise Dehaan bit and Mr. Ray seated onstage like right below you. Good stuff there!!!
You've never seen them ? My advice, get to a stadium gig, standing tickets. Stand at the back and just absorb the pure energy from the music and the crowd. You'll feel like you've been beaten up but it will be worth it. If you have seen them, just do as I've outlined any ways !! lol
@@BlackCat0315 lol. No, I’ve seen Ozzy twice, Crue, Suicidal Tendencies ( club show, awesome) and maybe a couple dozen other shows but either money or time was my enemy when Metallica came to town.
The energy radiates outside the outdoor venues as well. Louder than Life 2021, they started right after I finished a shift at Kentucky Kingdom. I bolted over and found the perfect spot along the fence line (luckily they had the big screens!). They played Whiplash and Ride the Lightning. I couldn't stay much longer cause of the drunkards, but it was worth it! AND IT WAS FREE!
It's always wierd when someone sticks cameras in your face when your playing lmao!!..." now I have to be an actor!'"...I never cared for it but it is what it is
Unfortunately your correct buddy..back in the day i was one of the first people into those mosh pits....metallica bradford st georges hall was a particularly good one(small theatre venue no seats in the stalls)
Hearing that good bad and ugly intro brought me back to when I saw them in 2017 the played blackened for the encore and I head banged my head off during the whole song and a drunk guy in front of me was jamming with me fucking awesome and one of my favorite songs ever
This group is the only thing out there capable of bringing the whole world together. I was at Twickenham in 2019 and spent most of the night with a bunch of South Africans and in Modena, 1991, me and my mate spent half the day with a bunch of US servicemen.
