Heavy snow moved into the Des Moines, Iowa area on Thursday evening on the edge of another arctic blast of cold air. Des Moines, IA can't catch a break from the accumulating snow and frigid temperatures. This video package shows an accident between two trucks along I35/80 in the Urbandale area. There were several other vehicles that were stuck or abandoned in the winter weather. The video package also shows scenes from the international airport, snowplows, and near whiteout conditions with blowing snow.
