Insight is integrated into Revit, but there is a plugin that needs to be installed for performing Lighting Analysis, Solar Analysis, and accessing the Heating and Cooling Loads report.
This video will show you how to install the Insight plug in within Revit.
1. Go online: insight.autodesk.com/oneenerg...
and download the plug-in relevant to your version of Revit. This video and the following tutorial videos are based on Revit 2018, which is the recommended version.
2. Go on your download folder and right click on the file and select “Run” to launch the installation. Follow the steps of the installation setup.
Go back to Revit, go to the analyze tab, note the new icons on the top right of your interface: Heating and Cooling, Lighting and Solar.
