Elementor "Hello" theme does not cascade from PC to Tablet to Mobile., ie hambuger drop down menu does not appear on Tablet/Mobile. How to fix? what setting? what tutorial is this discussed? Note hamburger drop down menu works on other Themes.
Hey Ahmed, these kinds of things can be difficult to troubleshoot without screenshots and more information. Have you joined the Elementor Community? It's a great place to ask questions like this, and get solid advice from other web creators. And you can share screenshots and links there as well: facebook.com/groups/Elementors.

@ephrimvael, where are you searching for it? You can find it by going to the *WordPress admin* > *Appearance* > *Themes* . Click *Add New* and you should see the Hello theme at the top. If not, in Search Themes, type in "hello elementor" and it should pop up.
Please update your Elementor videos to reflect some verify recent changes. For instance, this one starts right off with going to \Elementor\settings\Experiments\Hello Theme Header & Footer which no longer exist, at least not there. But thank you for putting these together because the last time I had to create a website I wrote the code, procedural and not declarative.
Hi smather2175, thanks for sharing your thoughts. So much to do, so little time! But we're on it 🤩 Please make sure you're subscribed to get notified of our latest videos.
@DuckBrosVRtheStoryWeaver if you're using the free version of Elementor, from the WordPress Admin, go to Elementor > Settings > Features, and set *Hello Theme Header & Footer* to Active. Save changes. If you are using Elementor *Pro* and would like the Pro header and footer features, do NOT activate the Hello header and footer in Features. Instead, use the Theme Buler to edit your header and footer. See how in this course here: elemn.to/blogcourse
This is not correct I see complete other things after 1 minute, i choose the Hello theme and after that they ask me to install elementor , where is wordpress??
Hi Miguel, you can find Hello theme in the WordPress repository. wordpress.org/themes/hello-elementor. You can use most themes together with Elementor, but we recommend Hello theme, especially if you'd like to follow along step by step with this course.
Can you provide information on updates? for example in first lesson, there is no experiments tab, ano place to select header and footer, no menus tab, etc. Any updates courses?
Hi Design, the Experiments tab is in the same place, but it's been renamed Features. Once you have the Header and Footer enabled from there, you should be able to see the Header/Footer options.
Not sure how old this is, but there a quite a few selections through out this whole tutorial I can’t click on because, they aren’t there. So I’m guessing people must purchase elementor to get through all the tutorials. Also several times I clicked on something elementor sat there spinning and I had to restart. Didn’t find this very helpful.
@FireRescue884 it's an older tutorial, but everything we teach in this tutorial is available with the free version of Elementor, together with the Hello theme (free).
@@Elementor I’m not sure I totally agree, but we can agree to disagree. I’m gonna chock it up me being a novice, but after purchasing Elementor, it works perfectly now. With that said, it is a pretty darn good 🔌 in 😂
Hi Paola, we've created a thread in the Elementor Community to ask questions about the course. Posting in that thread will allow you to add screenshots, and get great advice from other web creators. Feel free to tag me there as well. Here's the link: forum.elementor.com/getting-started-7/new-course-getting-started-with-elementor-2907
Hello please i need help i updated the plugins and now i can't activate elemntor pro i didnt make a back up and all of my page apearnce has lost footer and header and apearance of the pages please help me
Hi , like faisal wrote before me : here is no Elementor->Settings->Experiments. But I do have Features tabs in settings of elementor but there is no "Hello Theme Header and Footer". and yes i do have Hello theme installed so bad when you find a tutorial and it is just not the way it is explained... Ok ...so what if i can't set header and footer from elementor .. this is going nowhere..bye
Hi Angelo, thanks for your comments. Tech products evolve quickly, and at Elementor, we are constantly updating and improving our products. At the time of recording, this couse was accurate and true to the product. Since the course was launched nearly two years ago, there have been many updates to WordPress and Elementor, and while the look and placement of some features have changed, the core concepts are the same. You can keep up with the latest Elementor updates by subscribing to our RU-vid channel. Best of luck.
So far in my many hours trying to work with Elementor in Wordpress absolutely nothing works as described. If I go to Appearance/Themes, as directed, for example, there IS no 'Add new' as the video claims. There is an 'Install theme' button, where the video shows an 'Add new' but a search for Hello doesn't bring it up. Instead I'm hit up for a 'Premium Theme' option, for $180. So less than 60 seconds in, a complete fail.

hi! would like to know with this setup. how do you remove a specific page button on the header or the footer of each specific page. for example i want to remove the home button from the header and footer of my main page since that's already the "Home" page afterall. other example is the contact page i dont think its logical to the contact button if you're already at the contact page.
@akkir6707 you can remove these options from your menu. From WP Admin, go to Appearance > Menus. Expand the menu item, for example, Home, and click Remove to delete it. It will no longer appear in your navigation menu.
Well I'm not happy... I have the Hrllo Theme I have Elementor Pro and when I try to follow this tutorial what I get is NOTHING like what I see in this video.
Hi Philip, some of the interface colors have changed since the release of this course, but the overall structure is the same. What exactly are the differences you're seeing?
why dont you explain what is "clean wp instalation"? Yet its something that you mark as "recomended" so it better be done by my I guess. I cant find no information on how to do it nor what that even is. Very good!!!
Hi Jacobo, a clean installation, is a brand new WordPress site with no added content, themes, or plugins, aside from the recommended Elementor plugin and Hello theme.
thank you for the course. Why pages are not showing on the "appearance" section? They used to appear here but not any more - so I can not add them to the menu.
Hey @markbenson488, thanks for your question. You can use the Hello theme to create any kind of website. The main advantages of using the Hello theme is that it is very lightweight and won't slow down your website. It also doesn't add styling to your website, so you can use Elementor to design your website without worrying about theme conflicts. If you are using Elementor Pro, you won't need your theme to design your header, footer, blog and the rest of your site parts. However, if you are using the free version of Elementor, while you can use Hello theme to design a basic header and footer, you can not use it to design an advanced header (such as with a mega menu or specific display conditions), and you can not use the free Elementor or Hello to design your blog posts.
Hi Pamela, WordPress requires a theme to be installed and activated. If you are using an Elementor Kit, the Hello theme is a great choice, because it is very lightweight and is 100% compatible with Elementor and Elementor Kits. In our Blog course, we cover using Kits. Check it out here: elemn.to/blogcourse
Hi 4ngelo, where exactly do you see that you are required to upgrade to the business plan? You can Install Hello for free, and access the basic Header and Footer for free. If you are referring to the Theme Builder, you do not need this Pro feature to build the website for this course.
This is an excellent series of tutorials, professionally organized and presented, the instructions are easy to follow and clear, at the end of the tutorials you indeed have a great understanding of how to use Elementor, which is and amazing tools, Thank you very much Aviva!
@@Elementor I have same experience .. both the Hello theme and Elementor plugin installed. I might have deleted the plugin? what plugin comes in both Hello Theme and Elementor that might be missing? Thank you in advance :)
Agreed - Elementor is constantly telling me there's a 'Free' plugin but what Wordpress calls the 'Free' Elementor plugin link brings up nothing other than Wordpress demanding $180.
Hi Kazz, as mentioned in the intro lesson, having WordPress and the Elementor core (free) plugin already installed is a course prerequisite. Click this link to find out about installing the free version: my.elementor.com/welcome/auto-install OR watch this video from the timestamp if you have WordPress already installed and just need the plugin: out more here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9kOh39-LHFU.html

"Every WordPress requires a theme" ---> Oxygen disagrees
Hi Chus, thanks for weighing in here. Every WordPress site needs to have a theme installed and activated. For this reason, we have created and always recommend the lightweight Hello theme, which was built for optimal speed and performance. You can then use Elementor to build and design every aspect of your website. Have fun creating!
Hello Elementor, is there a way in this Hello-theme to adjust the looks of the 'header' (Main-menu) and add a top-bar + design your own 'sub-menu'? Now-a-days you see these big dropdown submenu's with extra images, extra info and such...
Hi Sanders, the Header options available in the free version of Elementor with the Hello theme are more limited. Elementor Pro provides you with many more customizable options.
Hey gabriel, it is still available. Download it here wordpress.org/themes/hello-elementor or from the WordPress repository, which you can reach from your WordPress dashboard, by going to Appearance > Themes > Add New. Then search for Hello.
