I agree. I wish there were more games like this. Not the FMV aspect per say but a game where you are given many dilemmas and control the flow and outcome of the story. Not many games do this at all and the most popular ones do it poorly (Any telltale game). My only gripe with this game is that the endings just seem rushed and incomplete which I am willing to put aside since it wasn't a big time dev team working on this.

it's a game. In real life, his eyes would start watering, blurring his vision and he'd keep them closed since he's not trained to withstand it. While that's happening, pepper spray would also get into his nose and mouth, making him cough and making his breathing so hard until the point he thinks he's choking. Then disorientation kicks in as well as panic due to the breathing/pain problems and they would remain for up to 20 minutes with side effects lasting up to two days. In case that the pepper spray expired, it'd be effective for at least 5 seconds, which is enough to defend yourself or run if you know how.

It was the real bowl he was trying to show the Tchois Parr had it the entire time and he's the one who stole it. When May said I know how he can get it, it was basically a ploy to set Parr up and have physical proof he had it the entire time and not Matt or May. He had to convince Parr the one he held was fake when in reality it was the real one. If Parr really dropped it and broke it then they'd all be fucked. That's why you get a reckless option and a careful option when handing the bowl to Parr the last being let Parr drop it as if you know it's the fake one and it doesn't matter if it's broken or not. It was a big bluff between both of them and fortunately it worked in May and Matt's favor. Basically Parr had to be caught with it red handed by the Tchois to show he had it the entire time and the operation was his set up to get the bowl.
