Thanks jason very informative Galvanoplasty electroforming more.

Hi Jason, I recently discovered your channel and am amazed at your electro forming techniques, I’ve done a bit of electroplating and find your videos very inspiring. Since you are capable of building a pretty thick layer of copper on almost anything, do you think this could be adapted to fill in a cracked area on a steel object by masking of the other areas? I’m also thinking of trying to use my vinyl cutter to plot out a pcb trace stencil and using the graphite paint to create a homemade PCB circuit. Thank you sooooo much for sharing this technique and putting up all these videos.

When you calibrate the sensor, it looks like you're shorting the BNC which would give it uninterrupted signal. It seems like calibrating it to this value would set the top end rather than the middle of the range to me? Could you help me figure out how to make it intuitive that this would calibrate the sensor correctly?

How concerned does one need to be about outgassing from the electroforming process.

Well hydrogren is a byproduct, we are talking about a range of .1-5 amps for electroforming. It would take decades to produce enough hydrogen at that current. So I might eliminate some oxygen molecules from the hydrogen being released but i dont think I'll miss a couple oxygen molecules anytime soon.
