I'm loving that timber wall in the living room. That is cool looking. Great accent wall. With those big windows you are certainly taking advantage of those gorgeous views.
coming together well. I like the colors and everything. Have you considered putting a window on the back wall of the office? Would make it not so "closet like". Of course you do give up wall space that could be used for storage, so a trade off. May want to do it before you forget where everything is in the wall, like wiring, etc. thanks for sharing your project. Dang, it looks cold there!!!
Thank you! Yes it was a tough decision to not put a window there but with the main use of that room being a storage I didn’t want to take up most of 1 wall with a window!
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet but staining the stairs or using the lvp flooring on them would make a good accent to help the color flow into the shop
I love this house man ! I don't mean to be negative but those LG Fridges are a No-GO. Ive been working on those for a couple years and those Compressors dont last for more than 3 years. Pay very attention to the temperature , I'd invest in a little temperature thermo to monitor temps. Most LG Fridges have 5-10 year warranty on Sealed System issues fortunately , just a heads up man !
Great job on the place , love the view especially. was thinking of building something similar to this.. two things i suggest though, one never paint a ceiling with anything but flat paint. when you use a gloss or semi or satin it seals it and if you get any leaks it cant get through the paint like flat paint, you end up getting a big bubble and it damages the drywall where as a leak with flat you just get a small stain... the other one is that flooring is made in china and i personally would not trust any kind of plastics coming out of china since they have zero regulations so you dont know what kind of toxic chemicals can be in it. Lets face it they sent toys laced with led paint ,, pet food that killed our pets and tons of other recalls on their products. not trying to bash your work, your work looks excellent and well thought out. just giving my two cents.... keep up the good work bud , enjoyed the video....
"I FIND THAT THE HARDER I WORK, THE MORE LUCK I SEEM TO HAVE", Thomas Jefferson. I think he declared bankruptcy like 4 times, so don't lend him any money....
Tons of landscaping around the shop house, gate at the bottom of the driveway, trees and lights down the driveway, and much more! I would also like to build a cabin for a future series!
Love the house/shop! You should totally film stuff while you’re actually working and do a time lapse speed up! Check out Goonzquad videos. You’d build a nice following.
I was curious to why you didn't enclose your living away from the garage from car fumes etc. Then you have to go in the garage to go upstairs to your bedroom. I want to do something like this but I'm concerned about shop fumes getting into the house
@@Create208 I'm saying 1/2 inch plywood or particle board needs to be on your subfloor prior to the flooring in those areas. Add carpet pad and carpet you'll be adding 5/8 to 3/4 to top of finished floor. On tile, with cement board, mortar and tile you'll also build up nearly 3/4 inch to top of finished floor.
Needs a larger living space. Maybe cool or great for you and your buddies to drink at and screw around, but won't be practical if you ever started a family or anything. Get killed on resale also. Need a window on that small office space to call it a third bedroom by code, at least in my area. Tiny kitchen. Tiny common area. Cool. Looks nice. Not practical. imo
