it’s like a step back in time #BMTHS3 Video by Brian Cox POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR: bmthorizon.co/PH.SH Follow Bring Me The Horizon: / bringmethehorizon / bmthofficial / bmthofficial
HOLY HOLY!!! I can proudly say that I have the two HOTTEST women on this planet as MY GIRLFRIENDS! I am the unprettiest RU-vidr ever, but they love me for what's inside! Thanks for listening Alex
That line pissed me off...like he's too big to play the kind of songs that made them. I hate when bands forget about their past songs that built their fan base and they change too much from their original sounds or forget about them. Soo glad he wasn't too stuck up to "relearn" that way of playing sounds awesome! Never forget where you came from!
@@BlueJDev i think he meant more that he was surprised that they were taking a step back, since they went soft over the past years, Matt probably thought it was a joke that they were writting something heavier and faster.
There are probably two reasons to why he's so chill. 1, he just focuses on playing, 2, from my experience I'd say there's something like a "drumming personality". Some people are just really bouncy on the drums from the get go and some are really chill like Matt. Of course you can pretend for the performance's sake but in the end of the day the point is to be a good drummer not a monkey jumping behind the drums. There's no point pretending you're someone else just so some gatekeeping fuckboys don't say you're a bad drummer because you don't jump around like 80% of drummers.
Seriously! Obviously solid riffs in all their songs but their older albums had some killer cuts on the guitar particulary their is a hell / count your blessings
Honestly I think it's really cool you guys kinda "gave" Lee and Matt this video, I really enjoy these even if it's just Oli and Jordan but I really appreciate seeing more of the other band members
Bet Lee had a blast making this one, dudes probably been biting his nails for the day he gets to play another really metal song. I can't wait to see him shred that shit live
Yeah! I really hope this album inspires more of the post human projects. A mix of metal with great solos and some more newer style from amo. Would LOVE a refused collab!
@@iamnotaweebiswear8940 I never knew about Refused until they were added to the Cyberpunk 2077 soundtrack as Samurai and damn they are good. So that would be nice
@@AngelPerez-dw8ou same! I didn't hear about them till cyberpunk. I'm so hyped. Black dog and ballad of buck ravers are my favorite by Samurai but the shape of punk to come is their masterpiece.
It's never just been Oli & Jordan... They just happen to be the masterminds if you will call them that, and to be fair most bands do have those one or two members that do a majority of the work (lyrics, mixing, producing etc.) 🖖
Yeah but imagine having that ability tucked away in your locker. Metal musicians are the most technically gifted, so being able to whip it out is a great asset.
Actually he is one of the main reasons why they don't play their older stuff live. It is said that Jordan wants to, but the drummer just doesnt want to play that kind of music on the drums. Or so ive heard.
My favorite thing about this album is that it is like a grown up version of their older songs- what i mean by is its hard-core, heavy, punchy and just kicks your ears in, but its polished, clean,, and I can understand it. LOVE it
Dear Diary is so nostalgic! Glad Matt and Lee had fun recording their parts, they did a fantastic job. 😏 This is why I love BMTH, their sound is so diverse, you can't put a label on them. Listen to Dear Diary, Can You Feel My Heart, and Follow You - doesn't sound like the same band but it is! 😍👏🏻🤯
He's definitely right that it sounds like something off of Count Your Blessings. The fast beat almost makes it feel like a more electronic, modern version of the ever so famous Pray For Plagues 😎. P.S. Evalyn in the beginning is the cutest ain't she? 😄
imagine them rerecord count your blessings professionally and with a lot of production, electronics, heavy guitar tones and Olivers voice as he sounds now (and some pop production 😀😀😀) that would be the greatest deathcore album
@@unrealslimshady4430 In general with this new album, it really feels like they've perfectly nailed blending the riff-based heaviness of their early days, with the electronic sounds they've been known for since Sempiternal. 😎
@@unrealslimshady4430 It wouldn't be the same because of the following -Not all the members (Oli for example) are into getting to heavy -Part ofCYB appeal (at least for me) is how raw the record is -The record was good back in the day and even during those years they got hate in the deathcore scene, but now there are tons of deathcore bands and it could sound as a generic album for people in general, only being outstanding for BMTH fans
I really hope BMTH to take a heavy approach next record cycle. Hearing the BMTH brand of metal was such a bloody throwback to like a decade ago that it put a smile on my face for days. Im sure the lads will enjoy using those metal muscles again
Im loving all this little behind the scenes, knowing the impressions and thoughts of all members of the band. Loooooved the facts that Lee used his first guitar! Trully the solo felt like an hommage to earlier songs, but this little detail proves how much you guys love what you do and where you come from💙
The more I listen to your songs the more I love them (and I mean ALL of them). And I didn’t even think I could love this band more 😅 thanks for amazing album and amazing “making of” videos
you guys are so fucking awesome for improve your sound in the lasts albuns and can also go back to old times so easily and even better than before. you guys are better now and I love you for this ❤️
It really speaks to how good they both are as musicians to see them both looking completely unbothered and nonchalant while playing incredibly skill demanding parts
I heard the guitar and drums (and bass) and was immediately like, this is all of the sick metal stuff they wanted to do when they were younger, but now they actually have the chops to do it right. It's like a fairytale.
