Thank you so much for uploading this, I was in this graduation video! 3 flight!! It genuinely makes me so happy to watch it and see how far both myself and everyone came on the parade square. Again… Thank you!!!!
My passing out parade was on the Groves/Henderson site - October 1977. After a thoroughly enjoyable three-year apprenticeship, leaving Halton was a bit of a wrench.
One of the best if not THE best passing out videos I've seen and I've watched a lot. The recruits also are right on the money, I was beginning to think the RAF discipline was slacking until I saw this. Thank you for sharing. Now I would like to throw out a couple questions because I am obviously out of touch...I am assuming the recruits are all direct entry. In the initial March past I spotted a female Air Specialist Class 1, can anyone tell me why she would be in a recruit line-up i.e time served previously/re-entry? Or as with the old Apprentice scheme is there another way of earning that rank at this stage of training g? 2. Why so many RAFP? Do the drill instructors come from the Police Branch now? In my day I think most were "General Duties" personnel and then later there seemed to be an influx of Regiment types..are they rotating the privilege to be a DI through all the trades 😄 final comment, this intake deserved more than a single Helicopter fly past. Well done camera person and well done to the graduates.
Hi guys, I'm an applicant in the process of joining the Royal Air Force. I'll be covering the entire application process on my channel. I just posted a video about the Selection Interview on my channel which I think may interest some of you! I'd appreciate it if you had any feedback too. Thank you.
@@BeanzAviation3967 hi mate. Good thing to do is revise on the website and get a good understanding of what is to come. That’s what I did and now I’m part the way through my phase 2 training. Loving it so far! Good luck buddy. If you want to talk more about it let me know and I’ll add you on a social!

A nice parade but what is it with all of those snoops on parade backed up by at least two provost marshal officers (surely the graduates are not that naughty). If they have to parade at least take those white hats off so that that parade could at least be uniform.
