Hi. What is the command for adding all users in an OU whose name start with a particular letter, say "A", e.g. Aaron, Amy, to a group I've created? I know how to find out these users with the Get-aduser query. But I dont know how to then put this result in a group. Please help.
Ashley actually posts this during the MVA aka.ms/mvapsad SCROLL DOWN and look for the MVAPSAD(.)zip (and there's your scripts). Also, if the short Url ever fails GO TO blogs.technet.microsoft.com/ashleymcglone/2014/10/29/microsoft-virtual-academy-using-powershell-for-active-directory/
Use Deny log on locally under Computer Configuration>Windows Settings>Security Settings>Local Policies>User Rights Assignment and set users you want to prevent from logging on at the computer
This was MVA (Microsoft Virtual Academy) content originally and in MVA you "could" jump to specific video time-stamps related to content. Channel 9 offers similar. Look below the video for links: channel9.msdn.com/Series/Using-PowerShell-for-Active-Directory
