My very unpopular opinion: I feel REM is the single most overrated band in American indie. BUT on that night in 1991, playing their songs unplugged for MTV, they absolutely killed it
Well, I have to disagree. Here where I live, almost nobody knows them. So they're definitely not overrated. It's probably my most favourite band of all time, and they have gone through such big changes, but everything they have done is good.
@@IgnacDvorsky I appreciate your upload, however the videos of most songs from the concert used to be on RU-vid , including the video of Perfect Circle (a dedication to “Donald”). I can only think there is some sort of copyright issue.
@@bpfromowc Ignacius is wrong. Disturbance was the second song. The show was broadcast originally in March, 1991 on MTV. I used to have it on VHS, and many are probably floating around out there and may pop up at some point. However, this song is not an extra but was part of the broadcast.
