This is so lovely! Thank you for your detailed explanations. I will try to replicate it on a smaller piece to make sure I have a good outcome. Thank you for sharing!
Oh WOW thank you so much! I really appreciate it 🥰! I am honestly surprised that this tray has received so much praise but I am so happy that it has received such a positive response! I don’t know how to top this one 😁😉!
Hi 👋🏼 thank you! I waited probably a total of 35 minutes. This particular resin has about a 45 minute working time before it starts getting really warm and thickening ☺️
Beautiful. I saw you strike through with the bamboo stick on the orange and then swirled all of your colours. Do you strike through all of them as well?
I had to go back and check ☺️ so yes it looks like I only did the 2 center orange ones, but not the others. There is really no rhyme or reason other than I was trying to get movement to the piece and drawing the eye towards the center.
Thank you! It’s okay to struggle with resin as it can be a tricky medium to work with and believe me it took a lot of practice, but I have enjoyed the challenge! For this particular resin I wait for it to heat up to at least 35C, to no more than 40C before I decant to make my white. I usually do 30grams for my white. This process usually takes about 20 minutes depending on my room temperature. I do have a thermometer and will physically take the resin’s temperature 😄! The resin at this point will thicken and you can feel it getting warm in your cup. I hope that helps! Just keep trying and watching. You will get it I promise!
Gorgeous! I’ve been watching so many videos (mostly Julie’s) and haven’t nailed the blooms yet. What is your secret to keeping the stick clean when laying the white down? Your cup was off screen so I couldn’t see. I’m not giving up!!!
Don’t give up! It look me a long time to learn this and I too learned mostly from watching Julie and trying to get it to work, but once you get it you get it ☺️🙌🤗! Funny, I used a paper towel but I didn’t even use it to wipe my stick between putting down the white and redunking the stick. Honestly by the end the stick was tinted a little pink/orange!
I did! Sometimes I add white alcohol ink but this time I did not. As long as you make your white somewhat transparent and not too heavy, especially with this brand it totally works!
I love watching your videos and love them even more now that I know you’re in Vegas! Are there any groups for resin around town? I just started (or am trying to start). I had a hard time this summer/fall as my house was still hot and my resin was curing so fast because of it. I can’t get my house below 76 in the summer. 😢
@@iResin247I don’t personally know of any resin groups locally! But I am always happy to help you learn ☺️! I used to pour in the garage but can’t in summer because of the heat and I get fast cures too!
