After watching some movies of Master Ivo, I decided to do experiments with Tesla coils, build like he builded them. Some intresting results came out as you will see.
There are 2 pictures in my album related to this movie: "To buck or not to buck" and "To layer or not to layer" photos.app.goo.gl/dZtmiNBfLPg...

Thank you Bruno. Great experiment. I appreciate your sharing. Videos are very good and commentary is well explained. Thanks.

Thanks for sharing your research results with us. What did you use as a coating for the pancake coils? They look smooth.

@Master Ivo, Also thank you to you for the things you share. The coating is done with hot glue gun and then heated with hot air gun, it then smooths out itself.

@Tokyo Volzing, thank you for the comment. If my experiments can help others also then they have more value, so thanks for letting me know😀

What is the input power into your primary coil circuit ? 53 mA DC ? or AC ? and at what voltage ? 12 Volts ? Do you still have your cap bank behind the battery, so the MilliAmp meters just show pure DC into the Caps from the Battery ? So if it is 12 Volts, then your input is around 0,636 Watts ??

Well done Bruno. Is this setup already overunity or how much output power versus input power do you get there ?

@overunitydotcom, thank you for the comments. For the power measurement I have to say I don’t trust them and only use them as a guide line. The digital version is so easy influenced by external field, I can show you 0mA if I want to just by placing it very close to transmitter coil and at right angle. The analog meter is the one that is not so influenced by the external field but as you wrote the frequency is a problem, and finally the measurement with low induction resistor is also not helpfull because my equipment is not high accuracy at low voltages and I pick up more from the 50hz grid arround me then from the circuit 😀 So I decided to use capacitors because they have surten amount of energy and when I release battery, the time that I have light will be my measurement. At the end the longest time to have light from surten amount of energy is the goal and I have to admit I can’t give you honest answer to current measurements. As you could see in movie, when the analog meter shows less current the time duration that I have light is indeed longer when I disconnect the caps from battery, so that’s why they are a guide line but not to pin on to for exact values. I’m in the process of building extra Tesla bifilar pancake coils to do extra experiments and thinking on the elektron pump from ground. The reason for this is that I noticed the ground connection has much more influence on series LC (like my receivers are now) then with parallel LC). I don’t have enough experience to say this is always the case (series LC better for grounding then parallel) but it is what I saw on my setup. For the camera, I’m sorry for the muting. I use a Picture cam with video capabilities but the mic is placed on the most convenient place to hold the cam 😀 I will try harder to keep in mind. Next video I will place the analog meter between battery and capacitors, I now placed it after the caps to see the speed of discharge. To everybody who reeds the comments, happy holidays and the best experimenting results you could wish for. Kind regards

@@brunovk417 hi Bruno. Many thanks for these answers. I wish you also happy holidays and good luck in experimenting with extraction from the ground... Keep in mind, that you really need fast diodes then and test for the best fastest diodes for your setup. Good luck... Regards Stefan.

Very good Bruno. Very exciting project. Are the coils quadfilar?

@Electron Proton Neutron Mouron, they are wound with speaker wire like Master Ivo has shown in his video's. My experience is that normally wound coils gave better result but this one are much easier to wind.

Forgot to mention that I also tested these on the plasma ball and they work as well. It's even not necessary to have a coil on top, using connection directly to the metal bowl also works, I think it's just necessary to create capacitive plate.

Is the self-resonance frequency for Tesla patent one the same as the speaker wire one for same amount of wire? Tesla claims the self-resonance is neutralized.

@morpher44 Thank you for the comment. That's something I don't know at the moment and will need to look deeper into.

Nice. I like the stability of the light when moved. I've always liked pancake coils for some reason :-) But my mind always asks ridiculous questions... what do you think would happen if another 1 meter coil, just slightly smaller so it would fit inside the outer one...? In my mind the flux lines are vertical - same direction as the "walls" of the big coil - and any other similar sized coils would be fully inside the lines of flux. And perhaps you would have your practical solution as all output would be on a single coil.

... but then the energy is duplicated only once :-\ Can you charge capacitors instead of LEDs - then using a clever timing circuit you dump the charge from each cap into an output circuit?

@Mark, I think when the coil is slightly less in diameter there will be to much inductive coupling, but I also think it could work when using a series LC for connecting a load. I want to experiment on that. By the way, I don’t think there are ridicolous questions, it’s only ridiculous to only be a parot and only think on what others say you should think, so all respect for your questions. The general thinking on this subject is wrong so we have to experiment to know the answer. After a good night sleep I also realised that the pancake coils act different as transmitter then receiver, because the led on the coil with one layer was brigther then on the 2 layer, which is the opposite result of the measurements as transmitter. This also means that I have to look into the bucking when used as receiver. The reason why I think the series LC could work is because of the fact that when you use a neon bulb on a series LC it will only light up at the site where direct connection with coil is made. This means that it’s not passing through the capacitor and we reflect the energy back. But this just came to my mind and have to test this when a load short cuts the series LC. Thx to the resonance kit from Rick we know the easiest way to check this out 😀 That kit has learned me a lot, but offcourse it’s a starting point and still have long way to go.

@Mark, just thought on the fact that capacitive coupling between the 2 coils of slightly different size will play a roll, so I’m first going to investigate the influence on this with smaller setup, I think that will be a nice subject for a video. Don’t have an idea if capacitive value is big enough to measure, we’ll see 😀

I have it in my mind that capacitive coupling causes headaches UNLESS you are using it on purpose to reduce load on the primary. But then the challenge is to be able to draw off power from all the receivers. Perhaps this challenge is just like everything else... easy when you know how!

@Mark, First my appoligies for the two comments that are just approved allthough they are older. RU-vid studio on mobile phone is not working that good, I often get messages not to see on my phone app and when I use laptop I suddenly have them. Very good idea about the capacitors, it could indeed be a very good way, I have much stuff for new video :) About "easy once you know how to", I completly agree it's so easy not to see things working but just that real sweet point where everything falls in place is what we need to find, and it exists I have no doubt about that, the amount of power is something else at the moment, but step by step is better then an sudden overflow :) Like Vicktor Schauberger had with one with his inventions, a colleague tryed it to start without Victor was there to guide him and the experiment flew through the seeling :)

Please try to not mute your one channel of your mobile phone with your hand during filming... You have 2 mics in your phone and one is almost muted, when you put fingers onto the mic hole... Anyway, well done Bruno !

Yes and from many others who shared information about the subject. I´m thanfull to all who have shared, otherwise I didn´t know what I know now. This are complex things I need help from others to understand or even know they exist.
