In Sahih Muslim, there is a chapter named "Chapter of Virtues of the Companions". Inside this chapter, there is a section called "Section of the Virtues of the Ahlul-Bayt of the Prophet". There exists ONLY ONE tradition in this section, and this tradition has no reference to the wives of the Prophet (PBUH&HF). The tradition is known as "The Tradition of Cloak/Mantle" (Hadith al-Kisaa), and is as follows:

I know I'm talking a lot but I saw a comment that was quite ignorant. It says imam ali was 4 caliph that means three were before him. Yea this dosent make sense because you believe he is the fourth rashidun caliph when we believe he and his progeny are the true khulapha and aima of Islam not appointed by the prophet pbuh but by ALLAH swt. Also just because someone is the caliph dosent mean he is a true and right caliph I.e yazid(LA) and muawiyah(LA) .

Sura Ahzab QURAN 33:33 إنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللَّهُ لِيُذْهِبَ عَنكُمُ الرِّجْسَ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ وَيُطَهِّرَكُمْ تَطْهِيرًا Allah kept sin away from them meaning sin does not come near ahlul bait. Every verse in the quran came down in a certain event. The event of this ayah was brought in hadith al kisa, look it up and you'll know everything.

My understanding is clear.I have read Quran many times.I don't need a Shia to teach me Quran.There is no dearth of Islamic scholars to teach me Islam.I don't have to go to Vatican city or Qom or Najaf to learn Islam.I want to know authentic Islam which only muslim scholars can teach me.So please don't ask me to watch video of a person who has half baked knowledge and who curse Umer bint Khattab(ra) and Ayesha(ra).May Allah guide you all to Islam.

Not to say the Hadrath Abu Bakar and the other sahaba were not great - they were. But each one had his greatness. Ali's greatness is certainly not because he was related to the Prophet, but he did grow up in the Prophet's shadow so dont you think that he knew a lot about the Prophet and his teachings? There is nothing to argue aout here my friend, it's just plain facts. Hope we can all understand each other and respect each other and be united like Allah(swt) wants us to be. Thank you.

Brother the true Shia are those who believe that Allah is one and only and there is no God except Allah, Muhammad (s) is his servant and last messenger, Ali is beloved of Allah, the first Imam... Nahjul balagha 17. For those who refused to side with any party, Imam Ali or his enemies, Imam Ali said: They have forsaken religion and are of no use to infidelity also.
