Really recommended for beginners. This video shows steps to perform analysis using spss with interpretation on the result. besides, as beginner, you should also read introduction to statistic book as well .

Many thanks for your video. I was wondering if we could use Pearson Correlation to measure the relationship between a numerical variable and a categorical variable. Based on your video, it seems to me that we can do that... Example: you examined the relationship between gender and weight.

The judgment of significance is made by looking at the p value (labelled "Sig.") to see if it is less than .05. While a small sample size may influence the likelihood of finding significant correlations, when the correlation is stronger (close to +1 or -1) it may be significant while a weaker correlation (closer to 0) in the same data set will be non-significant.
