Katie Hanley is also best know in the movie Godspell in 1973. She certainly has a great singing voice. It's hard to believe that she just turned 70 years old this year.

Who else just wants to magically get a time machine and travel back to 1972 so you can watch the original Grease play because first of all, I can't tell who is who by voice, and when you look at them you have to guess and I would love to see characters like Roger (Putzie in the film) Doody, Sonny, Jan, and Patti get more screen time and development and I get that this is a broadway show and the film is a...well film and since a broadway production can be however long as you want you get more time to flesh out characters but in a film, it's limited because if you spend to much time on supporting characters or give them their own song ( You can count Frenchy if you want but she didn't sing it but it was still mainly about her so I get that point.) It would feel like you are spending too much time on them and the main characters feel like the supporting characters. In a movie, the supporting characters shouldn't be extremely important, not useless, not an extremely complex character that should go to the main characters but it would be really funny to see Roger ( Okay Putize for the sake of the film) sing about how he will moon Jan unless she calls him. But that didn't happen and I want to see it happen but were in 2021 and that was made in 1972 so my dreams R.I.P
I saw the original and it was truly great fun (I was around 10/11 years old). There is more to do for most of the supporting characters in the stage version. Doody sings "Those Magic Changes," Marty sings "Freddy My Love," and Roger and Jan sing "Mooning." As you mention, Frenchy doesn't have a song, but "Beauty School Drop Out" is about her (and it's in the film) - the characters of Sonny and Patty are the others that have no musical moment to themselves. The original cast album is available and is a fun way to get a feel for the show from way back when.
0:07 What do you say to a guy in a letter anyway? Me: DEAR EVAN HANSEN WE'VE BEEN WAY TOO OUT OF TOUCH Also me: If I was Katie playing Marty I would add to that letter, "Do you have a sister *breaking the fourth wall* who so happens to look like Gilmer McCormick? If you arrive in person, I'll take your hand finally glad that you are here by my side."
