You can remove (unscrew) the reed valves. However, you need to reinstall the reed valve frame with the seal/gasket.

I did this and now i'm getting a FI light code 12 which is inlet air pressure sensor i thought it was the sensor so i changed it out, light is still on same code i jump the purge plug but the code still remain there... the runs great just the light stay on... do you have any clue?

I have a 07. Did this make any diff worth doin it?
