Hi Kent, great video. I was able to follow your steps and create this flow for myself and tested it working. Silly question- how can we have this flow action available for all users in Teams? So far it seems like I am the only one that can use it. Do I need to share it org-wide somehow? Thanks in advance!
The best method is to have a shared account group in your Active Directory with the users that will need it and then add it as a User on the flow (shared) in Power Automate.
Hello, is it possible to do everything you did in the video above but instead create a ticket in Jira instead of ServiceNow ? Also any recommended videos on how to create a ticket from an outlook email using Power Automate? Appreciate it.
Great video, thanks. Also, do you know if it's possible to generate a service now ticket automatically based on an email (in a specified template) whenever I receive one in outlook?
Yes, this is possible. I have many ServiceNow videos on the channel. Here is the playlist: ru-vid.com/group/PLmqRsTshEmekFt8GWG9DZ6dIc72dpZ9en The ServiceNow piece will all be similar. You will just need to use the Office 365 Outlook connector to retrieve the email
Thanks Kent, this is terrific work. Do you think its possible to populate the Adaptive Card choice sets with SN data dynamically? Such as, providing a choice set that shows all Assignment Groups that the technician is a member of? Or is that impossible because the Adaptive Card selections happen before we can do a get user?
I haven't really kept up on Adaptive Cards but know they continue to improve on them but at the time of writing that, I don't think dynamic list were possible. Not sure if it has changed
hi, thank you for the video, I would like to know if you had to sign in to the connector "List records Get users details for Person Created messages" when you add it for the first time?
That is the unique part of the URL for your ServiceNow instance. For example, if you are using a dev sandbox it could look something like this: dev#####
Hi Kent, I saw your video it's really nice. I just needed some help I want to create a system wherein for example if a ENQ, or RITM or CHG ticket is assigned to me, I can update the work notes of service now using teams bot. Is there any way with this video with small change I can do it. Thank you Kent this would help a lot of people!!!
@@KentWeare thanks. I would assume this is the same if on Paris? Just to clarify, none of the default connectors can be used unless some sort of admin role is assigned?
@@KentWeare That would be great! Back in service now, ideally. And I am wondering about the adaptive cards refresh status, would the cards status change in both Outlook and Teams if the action was triggered in either?
You have not explained it properly, how did you get those Choice options? How did you get the remaining flow, some options are missing or hard to find , you should have created it step by step in this video, rather than already showing what's created and then explaining it.
Videos 40, 41 and 42 (this one) are all similar so I didn't repeat redundant steps. Check out video #40 for more general details on how to set this up: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2tPcEn6Mpzk.html
Hi Richard - can you please share which link was missing? I have the previous episodes mentioned in the video already linked in the description. Thanks, Kent
Hi Kent, I am new to Power Automate flow and how it works. If I add Power automate app and create a flow as per video. How other users will get help from this flow? if I add app, Will it add to all other MS team users in organization? How other MS team users in organization benefited from flow which i have created? Thank you, Arkesh
