I love this pattern, thanks for sharing it! My local library is creating a 'vegetable garden' and your corn looks perfect for it. Since I also wish the video had shown leaf #2, here's how I did it In case this helps others: I first created a starting loop for my hook by pulling my green yarn through the stitch next to leaf #1's final stitch in round 11. Then I inserted my hook into the spot next to that (two stitches over from the base of leaf #1) to create a single crochet, which began round 11 for leaf #2. From there I was able to follow rounds 11-24 like I did for the first leaf, and they look the same.
Music was annoying. I tried copying it down as you went along- you removed written directions very fast & i had to rewind. Looking forward to making it.
Would you please tell me what weight yarn did you use for this project? I love the way the corn looks: it would look perfect in an autumn cornucopia. Thank you for sharing the pattern!
@@maryevenegas2173 so im confused as how do you add it on ? Do you make separate leaf sew it to the other side or somehow crochet into it. I'm new at this i wish the person making the video did it all.the way to the end step by step
