I didn't like the spark. Looked weak to me, but I do defer.Good luck. I will say that the 441 was never an easy bike to start. And it would be happy to take your leg off. As I remember you held the compression relief off thoughout the kick.Nasty piece of work that. Good luck
So you put a new carb on to see if the bike will now start Even though it was running with that carb? So you can eliminate 50% of the problem What do you do if a headlight doesn't work? Buy a new complete headlight or check the wiring to see why it won't work ? My dad always used to say most carb problems are electrical etc He was 80 when he died and that was 24 years ago I suggest this saying has been around a long long time I've heard it many times over the years from many different scorces in the uk
I'm 81 and have been saying it for years also. Dunno if I ACTUALLY made it up. But I thunked I did. ("Great Minds" and all that stuff.) I have a few others I thinked I thunked up. Such as: Never try to do part time what others do full time. If you have a problem, and you have the money to solve that problem, you don't have a problem. Never make a misteak you can't cowmpound. . . . . and about 100 others.
Even if the carb on victor is absolutely worn out it'll still start ok Yep 90% of carb problems are electrical and vice versa I hadn't realised that you made that saying up ? I guess if it doesn't start after you buy a new carb you buy a new ignition system next?
