Incredible structure on this severe thunderstorm that rolled into Waco, Texas. Sheltered from the wind and rain at a gas station in NW Waco. Second round of storms will likely ride the outflow boundary of this previous one.

The storm that hit San Antonio last night the news said reached up to 50,000 ft with a massive hail core.

Waco was also hit by a F5 tornado back in 1953. The storm went right through downtown, killing over 100 people.

@@ToyManFlyer1100 Sorry, but it was called "Wacko" long before Koresh took up residence, take it from one who was born and raised there, I heard it all my life. Must admit, for a while after the Koresh thing I just told people I was from Austin, saved myself a lot of unnecessary ridicule.

What if an EF5 was just coming at you out of the rain? Better footage than the movie Twister and that EF5 at the end of the movie. You guys may get that close one day. Have any of you been that close to a monstrous EF5? Moore? Joplin? Tuscaloosa?

@@joshuas.686 I see then. So how long does it take from the time the tornado is on the ground to an EF5 rating? Can they go to an EF5 in 10 minutes? That must be a hell of an experience to be near one. I watched the 2nd. Moore tornado goes crazy fast to EF5 status on RU-vid. I think it was under 10 minutes.

F4 hit Waco in 53..it was bad. Destroyed downtown, many died. Hope we never see an F5.
