In this lesson, we will learn what a perfect square trinomial is and how to factor perfect square trinomials. Perfect square trinomials are special because they can be factored immediately once you recognize their special form.
We will also learn what the difference of two squares is and how to factor the difference of two squares. This occurs when two terms are squared and subtracted from one another. The factored form can be immediately written down without any further work once you understand the pattern to look for.

Good sir. May I point out that not only do you teach maths, but you are giving people like myself, at the age of 43, the greatest opportunity to enjoy it and explore opportunities coming out of it. I feel liberated. Thank you soooo much.

"There is no way you can look at this equation when starting algebra and come out with this final answer", you are correct Sir.

I'm taking online Intermediate Algebra. The professor is non-existent and when I ask a question, they won't even respond. I have to say that you explain everything very clearly and just do an overall great job. I've watched a few of your videos now and they have helped me tremendously. Thank you very much for these. They really do help.
