Journey Into Asia is an annual showcasing of local talent hosted by the Asian Student Association at UNC-CH in celebration of Asian heritage and culture.
Buchaechoom (fan dance) is one of the most popular Korean traditional dances performed around the world. Using fans painted with peony blossoms, female dancers in hanboks (the traditional Korean dress) mimic flowers, butterflies, and waves. This year, we are dancing to a modern take of the traditional Korean folk song "Arirang" (아리랑).
