UPDATE: It’s been just about 2 years since this video and this light is still sealed tight and bright as the day we got it! Been daily ridden and through rain a few times with zero problems! 10/10 🔒

Well I guess I need to buy a $280 headlight 😂 I have Mullins narrow trees and my stock headlight looks kind of funny. Plus I can’t see that well at night. I try to avoid riding at night, but shit happens. 👍🏼

How long is the LED expected to last? Can it be serviced in the future or do you just have to buy a new one ?

This video is over 2 years old already and we’re still running the same light, no problems whatsoever and we’ve even ridden through straight up rain with it! It’s made really well. Not sure about the servicing but FNA is really good with their customer service through Instagram, you can just message him and he’ll usually work something out where you send it back and he sends you a new one but we’ve never had to do that with this model. Although our friend had to do that with the rectangle FNA headlight

Looks really good dude...like 5000Kelvin led. Hey I think 280 is cheap compared to the harley day maker light thats 500$...good grief now that's alot for a light...lol. you guys got it going on

So it’s funny this should post today. I have been working on a sportster chopper for the last nine months and I bought a set of 1967 Hella lights and I hated it. I put on a low brow 4.25 inch headlight and I hated it. So I started looking at the prism pancake light and they were sold out and when I looked up pancake light FNA came up. They have you to think, I’m gonna go buy one and throw it on my fucking chopper and call it a day

They also offer a smoked lens version. Do you think the brightness will suffer a lot? Or will it still be plenty?

Best investment ever! Of course that’s in the context of having a skinny bike to where there aren’t any headlights out there that are small yet light up the road that well. This thing is rad!

Dumb question but if I have the sportster treatment wiring harness and i don’t want to run a on/off switch do I just connect that single wire from the headlight to the headlight power wire from the harness? Lol

I just seen it’s sold as a single wire as either negative wire or positive. How does it work if it’s just a negative wire?

Not sure! We just run the positive wire and headlight was self grounding. Not sure how the other way would work though

Mine is bright for about 20ft. After that its worse than a standard headlight. Looks badass but not good for actually riding at night. Is there anyway to make it brighter?

No idea about making it brighter, but FNA makes another good headlight that’s bigger and brighter! It’s a rectangle one. But this small one has been fine for night riding here in SoCal, but for the most parts it’s pretty lit up around here

@Unaffiliated I'm thinking about roads without street lights. I'm also in socal and the potholes destroy wheels. If I can see them I'd like too avoid them. Highest taxes and worst roads

Ah okay yeah you’re right, definitely been straining my neck and eyes on some roads with this headlight to avoid those mean old potholes too over the years. Best bet would probably be upgrading to FNA’s rectangle light with 4 times more LED’s in it. But true, this is a great light overall for what it is but definitely not bright enough for backroads
