Hi Dustin the replacement cost £49 pounds a month ago, but during the middle of lockdown they were going for £150!! Not that people were profiteering or anything like that. With anything medical the cost is in repaying the development costs and not in the components inside.
Can you tell me what type of screwdriver head you used to take the internal screw out? I'm having problems w/ mine as well, and wanted to open it up, but don't seem to have a compatible screwdriver to use.
Hi Marci, had a look but can't find the screws that came out of it to say for sure. But it must have been one that fitted my screwdriver set. The set used was a Draper 31 Piece Precision Screwdriver & Bit Set. 6 plain slot bits size: 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0mm 4 cross slot bits size: No.00, 0, 1 and 2 8 x Draper TX-STAR® bits: T4, T5, T6, T7. T8, T10, T15, T20 7 x hexagonal bits size: 1.0, 1.3, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0mm Star bit - 2mm Round bit - 1mm dia. Triangle bit - 3mm Tri-winged security bit - No.0 Spanner security bit - 2.6mm it might have been a 1.5mm hex bit, I don't remember it being a security bit.
