#knight #volvo #truckerlife In this video, I walk you through my old 2016 International ProStar then my new 2020 Volvo semi trucks. Questions? Email me srushzip@gmail.com
Super happy for you bro! I'm thinking about starting with Knight and that's how I found your video before this one about your 1 month with them and I was hoping you would get a new(er) truck in the next one.
Congratulations Scott!! Nice Volvo you got there. Good looking out on your DM's part for sure. Enjoy it brother and see you on the next one. Keep us updated on your travels and please share some variety of content to see what you see out there. Thank you.
Hell yeah congrats man!!! Never knew what the buttons on the wheel were for that represent signaling to pass and thank. Volvos are spectacular trucks and drive like cars.
Nice truck! I worked for knight from 05 to 09 and I had 4 four brand new trucks in that time. They were always good about their equipment. Can’t understand why they can’t get on the apu bandwagon. Is that the Lakeland terminal? When I worked there it was a sandy lot with holes you could lose a truck in.
That bottom button was the to drop your air bags. Nice truck. Not sure if I would like the placement of the horn buttons. I would have my hands there all the time.
Yes. Only 1 of the 4 companies I’ve driven for have had them. The one that didn’t was ADS but the trucks they’ve ordered and are getting in now have them.
Just about have to be owner op these days to avoid the driver facing cameras. Funny..I saw on millis' homepage that "the drivers talked and we have listed"...and "it is up to the driver if they turn the cameras on or off"...but you know there are consequences if they turn them off. @@RushinTruckin
Pretty much, yeah but in my opinion, if you’re doing what you’re supposed to be doing and not being distracted constantly, they’re fine. When you’re parked, cover it up. If you’re in an accident, you’re gunna automatically be seen as guilty cuz you’re the professional. If you are innocent then the camera can exonerate you from any wrong doing, otherwise, it’s going to be harder to prove your innocence. Yes, I understand they’re annoying and you have the feeling of someone intruding on your privacy (that’s why you cover it when you’re parked during your personal time) but they can save the company hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars and also keep you out of jail.
I have to share with you also as I found it kind of ironic, but I went seen my Boss today from my current job. I went over to his other store, and was still debating on mentioning my plans on getting into trucking to him, but decided to wait a little longer. Been with him for over 15 years now, …..but anyways, in the parking lot at this plaza sat a Beautiful KNIGHT rig sitting there shining away in the great weather we had today here in Florida. Someone bobtailed it there to go eat I'm guessing. I found that ironic, and I was going to get a selfie next to that baby, but they had left before I could. ---- Then I see you got yourself a New Volvo.... Yeah dude, sorry to ramble, but I'm just stoked is all. Later Scott.... Lol...(that's my boss's name too and had thought of you when I seen that Knight Truck.)
@@RushinTruckin That's what I was thinking. I'm going to make it happen no matter what, just going to go for it and make the best of it. Going to get every single endorsement there is along with Hazmat so I have tons of choices after getting some experience.
Congrats man! Earned it in that older truck lol...I start orientation on Monday the 16th of March. Going to be out of the Dallas, TX terminal. Hope to get one of those Volvo tractors someday too! Safe Travels!
