Welcome back to episode 8 of my POV project!
Today we walk from Osgoode station towards Trinity Bellwoods Park. Will we make it there? Watch the video to find out ;)
I was very enamoured by the quirky buildings along the way. Sometimes a couple of residential streets don't hurt to take a peek around.
Thanks again to my friend Jay for gifting this lovely one to me.
Please check his moody photography out on his IG: @daizy.fx !
Please let me know what you think of this style of videoing with the unnecessary commentary. If you like it, tell me in the comments section below! If you despise it...also tell me in the comments section below!
If you have any film cameras you'd like to see a POV on, lemme know in the comments section below and I'll make a video about it!
(As long as it doesn't cost over $50 like buying 3 or more rolls of Cinestill800T).

I like the edit style of this! Also, the colours looks like a Fuji film simulation :)

I found this camera in my mom's old camera bag after she passed and feels like I struck gold. Still in mint condition; your video has inspired me to take it out to shoot with it! Your shots are beautiful.

How do you get the pictures on your phone if you have to get them developed? Also, where do you develop them?
@MayShi
@MayShi 2 года назад
Do you have a local camera shop? They should have a lab inside that develops film. Ask for scans when you develop and they can send them to your email from there. You can also mail your film to labs to develop online depending on where you are in the world.

hi, how did you import the photos you have taken with the camera?
@MayShi
@MayShi 3 года назад
After you finish shooting the full roll, get it developed at a local film lab. You can get the option to have scans sent to your email! The other way is to do everything yourself from developing using chemicals to using a film scanner or digital cam with a micro lens. I recommend this when you are deeper into the wonderful world of film :)

How has the battery life for this been?
@MayShi
@MayShi 3 года назад
Very good! My first battery lasted almost 2 years. It does also depends how much you use it but I kept the battery in the entire time.

Hiya, you will need one 3V CR123A (or DL123) lithium battery. Film is 35mm, the one I used in this vid is the Rollei Superpan 200. You can buy the batteries through Amazon, Kijiji, or FB Marketplace. I would recommend buying the film at your local camera shop/film lab to save on shipping fees.

I really doubt into buy or not analogic camera cus this effects can be created in a iphone easily ngl
@MayShi
@MayShi 2 года назад
They can be done on iPhone with filters, yes but the whole film process is different. Taking the time, exploring, developing, scanning and even printing. If you are into experimenting and learning, film is great for that. :) iPhone is good if you just want quick snapshots.

Hi May! Thanks a lot for the video. I’ve bought the same camera just a few days ago. After I’ve installed the film sign E didn’t change. And I have no idea what does it mean:( Btw can you please tell me what button is for the film remote?
@MayShi
@MayShi 7 месяцев назад
Hi! E means "empty" it probably did not catch the film when you spooled it in. Make sure to have the film strip reach the other side all the way and hook it onto the the little groves for it to catch properly. If it catches then it should say '1' What do you mean by the film remote? Here's a guide that might help. The 120ED is similar to the 130ED: www.butkus.org/chinon/nikon/nikon_lite_touch_zoom_150/nikon_zoom_touch_150.htm I hope this helps!
