This is a Trumpeter 1/48 Type VII-C Submarine which has been modified with LED lighting and motors. Some areas had to be scratch-built as it was not in the kit.
The build here is so fine that it will serve as an inspiration to others. The work done here is really that good. Best viewed with the sound turned way down or even muted. The background noise is from chatter at a model show by what can be quessed at as a group of suitably impressed admirers.
2 thumbs up ! I was looking for such excellent template for my own model. Not only perfect built but also perfect recorded+ presented👍👍 Big compliments !
« Alarm !!!! »… Das boot…1981.. A ce jour le meilleur film, le plus abouti, sur la guerre sous marine jamais produit… Merci pour ce formidable diorama.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I had to see what this video was about because as an average layperson, I didn't know what "08072017 Trumpeter 1/48 Type VII-C @MMHS2017" meant. Pretty cool!
1/48 is the scale of the model, meaning that if you took 48 of these models and laid them end on end in a straight line, they would equal the full length of the real U-Boat. 1/48 is popular with military modellers and is also known as O-Scale in model trains.
BRAVO, BRAVO!!! What a Truly Magnificent and Original Model.... I would Only hope to see it's reverse side to capture it ALL in it's Amazing detail. And how dearly I wish they ALL were still with us and the destruction that was Not warranted at All had Never taken place, Our World would Not be in the Dire Straits it is in because of her Loss that Never should have been allowed!!
That sir... is the very best hull weathering I have seen on RU-vid- You are an incredible artist- Would you kindly explain or demonstrate on RU-vid- Thank You in advance
Great maestro piece! But only one bathroom inside for these poor U boat sailors. What will happen if there are 2 or more people need an urgent bathroom relieve?😄
The blades of the screws look more like armor plating. Make them SHARPER like the real ones were ... and they weren't shiny brass either. Paint them a bronze color, more black than bronze, as a matter of fact. The screws are a total fail.
Yeah just junk it. Haha dam dude. Seen the nice brass ones they make for this kit?(that the modeler had not received at the time of this showing so gave the plastic kit parts a quick spray and slapped them on) calmn down buddy, you can model something just as good as this guy did(maybe) you just need to be more patient.
