09-01-UCS - Advance Steel Tutorial 

In this tutorial we are discussing various options to set and modify UCSICON OPTIONS.
Tekla users will find this is very similar to Tekla.
For Autocad 3d users probably there in nothing to learn here as everything is same.
But if you have only used Autocad in 2d mode, then it is worth going through the tutorials.
Turning the UCS Icon On
While working in 3d Mode it desirable to have the UCSICON turned on and show the ICON at the current origin point.
They way to do this is to issue the command UCSICON
Once we issue this command then we a few options
They are
ON, OFF, All, Noorigin, Origin, Selectable, Properties
The “All” option is useful in PaperSpace where there will be more than one view port. We are not going to discuss that option here.
The “ON” option turns the UCSICON visible on the screen.
Origin option set the icon at the current origin on the screen.
Selectable option raises a prompt to choose whether the UCSICON should be selectable. I would recommend to set it to selectable
The Properties option lets you set some properties of the UCSICON
